Yup , I follow Carl Murawski too, his thoughts on functional fashion ( if I could call it that, for lack of a better word) resonate with me. Your channel is the other channel I find extremely interesting and the integrity with which you review boots is a breath of fresh air. I've seen Carl's channel grow( I have followed his channel for long) and his content evolve , I definitely wish you the very best and would love to see your channel grow too.
One of my favorite videos. Does this mean I'm a cheap guy? Awesome tips. Truly made the boots look more classy. Love the new office, though the lighting on one side was a bit dark and couldn't see the boots as well. The environment looks and feels very intimate and personal. Great job, once again, BootSpy.
This advice also holds true to expensive shoes that come vanilla without, and I'm going to borrow phrases from the plastic modelling world, "drybrushing". As a bespoke maker of orthopaedic shoes I'd also suggest, especially with cheap leather soles, adding a protector half sole of hard rubber, not expensive and can be done by any supermarket cobbler, as well as, depending on your weight and energy of step, a new heel very soon, both of these things can be done inexpensively and will lenghthen the life of the shoe and substantially lower the already low cost per wear. Addendum: as mentiones here new quality laces cost next to nothing and make a difference: go with apropriate colours (blue with brown exempli gratia) or lighter shades (beige or khaki with brown shoes, grey with blacks...) - creates visual interest and looks oh so dapper! I followed your instructions to the letter, but my boots, which were lighter in color than your example here, went far too black. Is there anything I can do to peel back some of this excessively dark value?
I appreciate the shoutout man, thank you!
Of course! Thank you for the consistently great content!

thank you for the kind words, and yes, Carl's channel is amazing, and definitely an inspiration. He deserves all the growth he's seen!

Great hack.
Like the technique, my only question and concern is will this style be the square toe box shoes of ‘style’ in years to come?
Genius! May I suggest that you wear latex or vinyl gloves next time? Shoe polish does contain some toxic ingredients that can absorb into the skin.
You flashed the brown container too fast for me to see the company I can purchase from.
Does this need to be done everytime one wears shoe ? Please reply
Cool
I know how to convert cheap boots into expensive one. Don't buy CHEAP boots... Works everytime.

Is it real leather?
🤨 cmon dude
It does look better but the crappy shoe will still fall apart after a while so i would buy better boots. 😅
