I don’t fully understand what would be a positive feedback control loop? For instance how did you determine whether platelet arrival during blood vessel cut is a positive feedback loop or negative?
Sorry i’m giving a late response I hope this helps but it’s cuz the positive feedback loop amplifies change, negative feedback loop inhibits change. So like when you get cut, your brain amplifies the amount of platelets it will send to the cut. Or when you get a bacterial infection, it will amplify your fever in order to kill the bacteria. Negative feedback stops crazy changes from happening (when you’re cold you shiver to bring the heat up, when you’re hot you sweat to cool down), positive feedback stimulates change (fever getting higher and higher)
Out of all the hundreds of videos I’ve watched I’ve finally understood what negative, positive and homeostasis are 👁️👄👁️
thank you for making this so simple to understand
Clear explanation ! Does help me clarify positive feedback loop:)
