I am a 20 year old college student looking to apply for the 2024-2025 program. Since you guys have been in Spain for awhile what regions would you recommend for a mix of night life/socializing and meeting new people but can also chill and recharge.. I am thinking of Madrid, Barcelona and maybe Valenciana but not too sure. Im trying to research but its hard because they themselves dont provide much information.
I took a study abroad in college; Valencia has a very even mix of Both. Madrid is very expensive in terms of cost-of-living and I personally got harassed by some random guy in Barcelona. I'd also take a look at Galicia personally; up north they are very mountainous.
anything in southern Spain would be amazing. Some have problems with paying auxes on time, but the quality of life is better lol. either that or Madrid would be our recommendations!
I'm stuck in this situation now. Just got accepted and just started the background check. So confusing and nerve-wracking. DIdn't even think I would be accepted as I had a high inscrita number in the 4000's, and I even got the region I asked for!! When did you guys apply for visa, what month? Also, were you able to work a side job when you were there to make a bit more money?
Funny I’ve been discouraged from the application process and trying to figure out alternative ways to move abroad outside of nalcap so I’m glad I’m not crazy cus the website is horrendous and so glitchy I wanna give up but this is all I wanna do after graduation
I'm really sorry you guys had this experience, but my experience with the application and everything so far has been super simple and not frustrating at all for me so this definitely won't be everyones experience
Hello, I noticed one of you was able to get an online job. can you provide me with that information? Currently, the remote jobs I am applying to are only USA-based. This would be very appreciated.
The remote job Mika was working was a US-based company. So unfortunately, we don't have any information on getting a remote job in Spain. Hope you find what you need!
I heard CIEE is a great way to go because they help you all the way through the application process and while you’re there. This video helped so much! Thank you!
Subscribed. Loved the honesty and detail guys 🙌🏼
Applied this year, got accepted, and I’m currently waiting to be placed in a school🎉🎉

I'd still try to make it happen! Get out of the US before it's too late!
Lol this is so true!! I wish it counted towards residency but sadly student visa does not :( @@travelunflitered
