SABR Live Oral History: Frank Viola

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, a live SABR Oral History interview was recorded with Minnesota Twins great Frank Viola, a former Cy Young Award winner and World Series MVP.
The left-handed pitcher from New York known as “Sweet Music” recorded 176 wins in the major leagues from 1982 through 1996, including 20-win seasons in both leagues with the Minnesota Twins and New York Mets. He earned three All-Star selections, World Series MVP honors in 1987, and a Cy Young Award in 1988.
