Daniel Ruiz YT only showed “SPOILERS” as the comment so I thought at first you were mad you got spoiled on s3 😂😂. Since it is the end of that particular Dolores I’m thinking that will also be the end of that version of William. He’s gotten shot and broken down a lot that I don’t know they’ll keep having him survive which sucks cause his s3 storyline didn’t end in a fulfilling way.

And i agree with you, being killed by his host version is kinda ironic, but after see him finally accepting his role, dealing with his past and wanting to do something about the situation with Dolores, it doesn;t feel like a good send off for human William.
