Something that probably doesn't help is that they are clearly late game enemies designed to be even harder for the player to fight compared with starting enemies that are exactly as they were when you first run in to them.
I think it’s quite clear the Ministry was the force of Japan and why Genichiro wanted what was essentially his ace in the hole, immortality to even stand a chance against the huge numbers of the Ministry
The ministry is the forces from the Shogun, in the real life it could be Tokugawa but in sekiro idk who is the Shogun. Tokugawa was the first to achieve unification in japan, if a clan did not join him, did not listen or do what he ordered, they were doomed to be eliminated. Surely Ashina was one of the last enemy clans that did not surrender before the Shogun, so that is why they sent the spies (rats) and then when they saw that they were weak they sent the ministry to bring order (kill). People don't know that sekiro is based on a old ninja anime although I don't remember the name
Awesome. I would have liked to see a few more grunts, green-robed fencers and swordmasters, nightjars (even red eyed ones) and taro troops for ashina, plus redhat rats, lone shadows and some ministry ninjas for the Interior. You could also put an ogre in on the Interior side since they have one in the outskirts. Could get even more epic. Would also be cool if Gyobu or the spear generals could strip Shigekichi's armour somehow.
Could you do more interior ministry stuff just with more parts of Ashina? Like them conquering the sunken valley, Mibu village, Senpou Temple, maybe they even found out how to get to fountainhead. They only conquered Ashina castle and the outskirts, but that’s only scratching the surface of Ashina’s land.

Historical samurai mainly used spears and bows on horseback and utilized guns when they had them. The true end to the samurai was when they became bureaucrats after peace was achieved.
The ballad of the ogre and the spear was my favorite of this video. Those two were locked from the beginning. What an incredible ending. Would love to see how Kensei Isshin Ashina would effect the battle (if there was a way to summon his once Geni falls?)
This was epic! So many good moments: 1) Genichiro 'for the glory of' Ashina being one of the first to jump in the fray, 2) Emma 1vX'ing a bunch of ministry mobs, 3) the bull attacking both friend and foe, true to its nature, 4) Isshin fighting to the bitter end. It's sad the ministry won, though I suppose it's consistent with the game's story. Brilliant idea, thanks for sharing!
Hey, just a question. How did you made this fight? I remember I wanted too do something like that ( just for myself) and didn't found any guide or mod too do it.
4:18 Lord Isshin: That's it, I'd have enough of you!! Fire Blade attack! Ministry Soldiers: Ey, this old man set us on fire! Let's show him what REAL Fire looks like!!
Interesting. Though I think story/lore wise it would be a stomp in Ashina's favour as many of them could probs solo. Though it does represent why the interior would have won. Sheer numbers. In the tens of thousands.
The only one the Interior Ministry feared was Isshin, everyone else they could deal with. They have better armor, and better weaponry. As cool as Ashina is, the Shogunate always cleans house because they aren't afraid to use rifles and cannons
Yeah they're way better equipped in every way, better training for the most part as well, the only thing they feared was isshin, all.the other magic stuff they could deal with
Now you understand why red guard using flamethrower and rocket now. They are ruthless, even women and children will be massacre because for them the people of Ashina are just monsters
As all the hostile NPCs are suited to fight Sekiro, it's always fun to see them parry and stagger each other. It looks spectacular. If we get a sequel, I'd love to see an exploration of the interior ministry.
Damn, in hindsight, the whole thing about taking the Dragon's Heritage in order to save Ashina makes sense here. The Interior Ministry is not only more advanced, but has better weapons than the Ashina Clan. Though even with resurrection, the fires would kill the Red Eyes just like in the video. Owl didn't even have to lift a finger, his men were more than capable of taking Ashina. Sekiro's intervention within the story was more of a lucky break if anything.

0:51 the second I saw the guards start stun-locking one of the bosses, I knew where this was gonna go.
RIP Emma.
When there's no teacher in the class
Isshin was the last man standing, if not for that flame throws at him he would have gotten a few more in there.
一心さま最後まで生き残るとかやつぱ強ぇわ
Interior ministry troop seems alot more menacing and well trained than Ashina's footmen
That's the point.
because its the government
Maybe thats why they resort to using supersoldier
Red guard(赤備) is already a name for elite forces in Sengoku Jidai, started with Takeda Red guard. They literally arming with red armor to become their symbol. So that's why
Goes to show how right the Interior Ministry was to fear Isshin and literally only sieging Ashina the moment they heard he was dead.

In this timeline sekiro just left ashina after being kicked by genichiro, so the war exploded
@Dick Kickem You kinda just see how people are dying for defending their land that was taken before by the same dudes, I kinda feel more of it due to having Emma and Ishin massacred
この内府兵達を虐殺した怨嗟の鬼のやばさよ
That was a surprising outcome for sure! Awesome vid though. Sad to see isshin getting gang raped at the end
To be honest only gyoubu seven spear and ashina general are fight here Emma and ashina elite, inshin did nothing Emma đie to ealy without kill some one ashina elite red eye are scared of fire the bull khock seven spear oute of it way also cause fire damge to him the battle hard for them . To win
He deserves that lol
Very fitting, if I do say so
@@cambeobeo Emma was strong but her moveset is a very bad matchup for multi-opponent fights (and *all* the AIs suck against projectiles). If the AI could be tweaked to give her a wing-man or two, she would have done much better before being massacred
Did you seriously spoil endgame?
For the past week since initially seeing this video, I have been obsessed with how cool that attack charge animation is on those dual sword red guards. 2:12 has one to the far right of the screen doing it, lookin super dope my guy.

Who would win? a clan of warriors and beasts led by a sword saint, or some red dudes with gunpowder?
This proves history once more.
Range advantage -> Melee supremacy
This is how the Samurei went extinct. :(
Historical samurai mainly used spears and bows on horseback and utilized guns when they had them.

Seven spear and ogre is the one who made this battle seem fair.

Sekiro coming back to ashina after his bizzare adventures in senpou temple: 👁👄👁
This was epic! So many good moments: 1) Genichiro 'for the glory of' Ashina being one of the first to jump in the fray, 2) Emma 1vX'ing a bunch of ministry mobs, 3) the bull attacking both friend and foe, true to its nature, 4) Isshin fighting to the bitter end. It's sad the ministry won, though I suppose it's consistent with the game's story. Brilliant idea, thanks for sharing!
This makes gyoubu look like an absolute badass
Yeah too bad he’s not that strong as an actual boss lol
But he is.
So basically we left a castle without security and open a path to its destruction...
Made me sad when they ganged up on the old man at the end. He put up a good fight
Hey, just a question. How did you made this fight? I remember I wanted too do something like that ( just for myself) and didn't found any guide or mod too do it.

Lord Isshin: That's it, I'd have enough of you!!
Yeah they're way better equipped in every way, better training for the most part as well, the only thing they feared was isshin, all.the other magic stuff they could deal with
SUPER cool when all the background fighters are low fps in the start. Looks like stop motion anime
4:00 How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?!
Man the leader of the Red guard cleaned HOUSE! He took down like 2 Ogres 2 Generals and finished off Ishin himself :-O
あれ?弦一郎殿は?
All my ever since enemies fighting with each other. Nothing else is satisfying than this.
Damn their training looks intense.
love these vids so much
Now you understand why red guard using flamethrower and rocket now.
This is amazing is this all the enemies in the last area in 1 spot or was there a few extra added ?

Looking at this picture nothing else between the 2 countries there’s not much of a difference of the media...
Seriously either culture can cringe the other or make the others laugh at each other, orrr obviously literally like the shit out of the country since I’m sure there some Japanese people that do like western media stuff as well, just like any American that happens to like the stuff Japan gave or popularized (Cuz if I remember anime was not originally in Japan, and got popularized... I think I might need to look it up later)
