you just had a bad one. pineapple chicken breast pizza is the best kind of pizza, but it's difficult to get right. although it's not hard to find a good one here in europe if you just go to a good pizza restaurant.

Well done Aqua well done. She's so cute that she actually managed to get away with that recovery with a mouth half full of food probably due to nervous eating. Aqua definitely represents a lot of us. I'm really happy when I get to spend time with good people, but it can be stressful. Don't mind me just being nervously happy to be in the company of friends for the first time in a month.

Pineapple on pizza has stopped being niche ages ago, the majority of Italian restaurants have it on their menu. It usually is within the top 5 in any country for most bought pizzas.
Just enjoy what you enjoy. pizza is very versatile and can put different toppings on the same pizza. Everyone just grabs what they like.

I don't put anything sweet on my pizzas, no pineapples no corn. Only savoury stuff belong on pizzas. Unless it's a dessert pizza, which some may argue is not even a true pizza lol

So I was working and had an epiphany out of left field, btw, I just watched a TL on Aqua roasting Pekora for the cold chicken before watching this. Pekora saying warm, sweet things are not delicious, made me think, did Pekora mean to make the chicken cold then? I know chicken isn't sweet, though I have made mine marinated in sweet chili thai sauce and oven baked and it's pretty good. Anyways, now I know who to share pineapple pizza with. Also, fresh baked, out of the oven, baked apple pie is really delicious, same as peach pie, hot fudge brownie (topped with ice cream), and more. I still have hope for her.

"Warm sweet things are NOT delicious" is not a bad argument, though I would change it to "Warm sweet fruits are NOT delicious". It is not only baked pineapple, peaches too taste awful after baking and who knows what else, I'd rather not try. But I know a lot of people who enjoy it, so it again just boils down to preference.
You just can't beat grilled pineapple on a pizza. Especially when you've got ham and jalapeño on it.

I'm raised to see pineapple as a fruit. not as cooking ingredients. so any recipe that try to combine savoury food with sweet fruits somehow looks weird. I've try some of the combination like putting chocolate on curry to enhance the taste, putting salt on watermelon,and pineapple pizza...but my tongue can't taste the special"effects"after adding them.
Salt goes well on pineapple to neutralize the acidity as it can cause sores. It also makes it sweeter. Another instance would be the use of sugar in cooking.
There’s also orange chicken, the use of apples in Japanese curry. Mangos or apples in sausages.

Not sure if it's just the sweetness, probably more of certain combinations of flavor + temperature.
Personally I'm not a fan of tart fruits on warm dishes (e.g. pineapple/apple on cooking), but I love mango pastries.
I like tocino/longganisa (breakfast meats marinated in sugar-rich marinade) but eating sausage with apple makes me gag...

Pizza in Japan kinda sucks no matter what they put on it.
Pineapple on pizza is delicious with the right toppings. People that hate it are just trying to be trendy, like people that claim to hate the word "moist" - a few people said it, then more jumped on the band wagon. Get a pizza with pineapple and mushrooms, or pineapple and pepperoni, maybe pan crust, and you'll have a good meal. I'm going to get a pizza tomorrow maybe now.

Sausage, ham, bacon, or Canadian bacon works well too. Pork in general goes great with pineapple just like a good al pastor taco.
