While the difference is dramatic, I do try to remember that one of these is 12 years old. Thank you for the vid and for the settings and specs. I’ve got a mid-range PC so I’m still struggling to get my settings optimized without making the machine scream for help!
I suggest trying with data settings off, to see if that helps. I find photogeometry to be a frame killer. Also you can pre load your favourite areas in general>data>manual cache.
Love DCS, but my biggest issue (especially compared to msfs) is scale in the maps. In DCS I feel like I'm flying around a diorama. Msfs feels more real to life scale. Same goes for xplane

Yeah, we can hope for a modern DCS, but it'll likely be years before that
