Ocultic people indeed man of God mention Jesus without effect. Man whom I found naked started following me where I congregate in hunt of my destruction. Through being members of same church started coming physically to my home with destructive intentions. But God's grace is shadowing my house house. Glory to God for the knowledge shared through you which opens my understanding in spiritual warfare.

As for your question, from my personal experience, at times when I pray, I get led by the Holy Spirit to give decrees such as spirit of infirmity I command you to leave and never come back in the Name of Jesus as well as good health and favour shine forth in my life in the Name of Jesus. That is what he means by exercising your Christian authority, in the Name of Jesus through the Power of the Holy Spirit. It is to bind and cast, bound/prohibit and permit(matt 18:18)

I think he was more than practical. He gave several examples on various points, like the Prince of Yola, Ezenmuo, etc.
