I hated Carry On - that was the biggest waste of a studio ever. but at least scream is interesting to listen to and has catchy tunes you find stuck in your head - like this one. i was walking back to my dorm room and this song popped in my head. and if you're going to bash his new album, you've got nothing to say (c wut i did thar?)
This just goes to show Cornell was the greatest singer of his generation. Was. A shame time has taken its toll on his pipes. Kinda funny how he used to smoke and drink a lot during these days and his voice was still intact. I really miss the days.

Carry On is CC's most Beatle-esque album and a great album. Go back, give it a listen and see if you can IMAGINE (c wut I did that?) Lennon or McCartney singing those songs. Can't associate CC and "biggest waste of a studio".

From my experience around live shows from both sides that alot of times monitors and shitty audio are to blame.
