Awesome explanation. I've been researching the whole day, trying to understand SaaS and just couldn't "click" it and here you explain it to me in 5 min. I salute you.
I was learning this in this week leacture and I thought the same thing when I saw the word SaaS ("Time to get saassy ;)"). But seriously, very helpful video for understanding SaaS. Nice short and sweat. Thank you
*Usually* the companies are looking for someone to administer accessing the various apps, ensuring that the users have the correct permissions to them (for email systems, for example, ensuring that mailbox aliases are set correctly), and so forth. Especially if a company is migrating to SaaS from another cloud or from on-premises environments, then there is the coordination of corporate network and Internet services updates as well. Using SaaS is typically really easy; administration - depending on the size and dynamics of an organization - can be rather involved. If the organization has its own SaaS-based application(s), then there may also be a need to interact with the application's API in some way. So companies do need to be more specific when they reference SaaS. HTH.
This video is a concise and engaging review. It offers valuable insights into SaaS with clear explanations, real-world examples, and captivating visuals. Thanks you so much.
Thank you for this video. You explained SaaS in a simple way and cited good examples. I have a query though. Apologies in advance if this seems like a dumb question (I'm completely new to SaaS and cloud computing). So, here goes - What is the difference between a regular web application (for example, Expedia, TripAdvisor, etc.) and a SaaS solution? In other words, what's the dividing line post which a web application transforms into a SaaS solution? Thanks in advance!
At 0:21 you said "So far in our journey we have talked about infrastructure as a service." I never saw that video. In your future videos, if you talk about an old video, can you provide links to it? or provide the title of the old video, or something? Something like: "for people who have seen the previous video: great; for people who haven't, here's the link to go watch it."
I love your videos and personality. I learn a lot from your videos. NEVER STOP !!! Quick question. What program is that on your tablet, that allows you to write on the screen as you record ? I would love something like that! Keep it up, keep being awesome, you rock!
Loved the video. Would love to know what he was writing on that instantly displayed the text. Would love to incorporate that for my athletes. Thank you
Saas comes to stay. My question is, is it in best interest of customer always to start of thinking of consuming (anything) from only 1 source and that is cloud. That it is not presented for B2B salespeople as "1 of the approaches" but as "the approach". It is not over "pros and cons" of 1 of another method but content worth of content marketing.
so, when we use a banking app or website, will that be classed as SAAS? if its not a SAAS, why not. it is still a software servicing the consumers but without a subscription.
Mark C cloud concepts is the first module in this course and it’s just that, an intro to cloud. The next module, core azure services, is more technical and has some hands-on opportunities.
@@NetworkChuckdo you have any samples of the more technical stuff ? What's the new course cost and what does it include? Just Azure? What about other cloud stuff ?
This took a 1.5 hour lecture and summed it up in 5 minutes, thank you!
Awesome explanation. I've been researching the whole day, trying to understand SaaS and just couldn't "click" it and here you explain it to me in 5 min. I salute you.

Why do companies put SaaS on job descriptions when it's just something super simple like Gmail?
I agree!! I actually don't even know what companies mean when they post in a job description - its so broad.
I'm here wondering the same thing 😂 some of these aren't even tech jobs

The reason this video is so helpful and concise is entirely related to the power of the beard. Not debatable.

What kind\model is that smartboard you are using for this video?
Seriously great video
Loved the video. Would love to know what he was writing on that instantly displayed the text. Would love to incorporate that for my athletes. Thank you
it might be just a Stylus pen, that you can pair it using Bluetooth. They work fine with laptops that are "touch"

Great video man
That headset is nice, is it noise cancellation on both ends? If so can you drop a link?
never realized it but glad I figured it out
so, when we use a banking app or website, will that be classed as SAAS? if its not a SAAS, why not. it is still a software servicing the consumers but without a subscription.
Nice video, really enjoyed it. Your equipment looks great, do you mind sharing what you are you using to digitally write on?
What is the tablet you are writing on? Can you please do a Video on it. If that is a video can you please post the link??
Great breakdown.
Saas should be a cloud service? Or just a off-line single play game is also a Saas?
Simplicity at its best! :)
If a company is using Office 365, OneDrive and Salesforce, is that always SAAS?
Awesome content!
Excellent video!
Glad you liked it!
So software, but in the cloud rather than downloading it?
Coding application are example of which service model of cloud computing...?
Thanks Chuck 😊

Well explained!
Are you planning on doing something aimed at IT pros or just this sort of management overview ?
Mark C cloud concepts is the first module in this course and it’s just that, an intro to cloud. The next module, core azure services, is more technical and has some hands-on opportunities.
@@NetworkChuckdo you have any samples of the more technical stuff ? What's the new course cost and what does it include? Just Azure? What about other cloud stuff ?
Nicely explained
very informative, thanks
