Can i just say while Dominique is talking im smiling like an idiot🙈 You doing good baby❤ and thank you for this another vid that you shared to us😊 We Love You😍
Me too. She really has the ability to make someone smile while watching her talk and for when she smile and laugh, 😍 watching from Philippines 🇵🇭 January 6, 2021
"if you never see your story told it could lead you to believe that you're the only one out there experiencing it which could be INCREDIBLY LONELY" wow i've been there and its suck... but not anymore, thanks for this video Dom, you are amazing and so grateful for you!
As a closeted woc queer woman, I rarely get the representation I need on media. Hopefully we do get to see more and more diversity in every aspect of life. The show helped me a lot as I found it during a difficult time and Wayhaught's journey pulled me from impending depression. THAT JUST BASICALLY SHOWS THAT REPRESENTATION MATTERS. Love you Dom 😖💓
Thank you for being so supportive. It means a lot. I’m an Asian living in Asia and my country certainly don’t have Queer representations. Me and my friends are invisible in media, it’s hard and sad but someone like you make me go ahead and have some hope. Waverly and I are not same, we have different culture and language but still I can related to her, I cry with her and laugh with her. Because love is love. Thank you again. Your work inspires me a lot. I hope we can keep doing what we’re doing!
Thanks for "using" your position like a public and famous character to create a positive impact in the world, thanks for caring and do something about it. Thanks for starting the wave 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I’m sobbing while watching every single video on her channel because I wish I could figure out literally anything...I mean she just figured out the freaking meaning of life like it’s no big deal

This is why I love this show because not only are pushing the boundaries within the show, but the actual cast constantly pushes the boundaries. They support, teach, and interact with their fans on a real level. Thank you dom especially for this video. I’m so proud that I’m apart of this fandom and incredibly thankful for all they do ❤️
I didn't find the way to put it into words what was it that made our favorite characters so important, but you did it here beautifully. Not only do we feel we aren't alone in whatever we're feeling, but they also inspire us to become more confident and even proud of who we are. That alone is a game-changer when it comes to a more loving world, as we feel we can be part of a community, and gladly contribute to it.
Dom you are an inspiration. A modern day Renaissance Woman...it is a gift to watch you reaching for wisdom and truth but remaining always so profoundly kind. If there is such a thing as Karma, a billion blessings upon you.
I literally grew up without a word for "lesbian". It ate at me as a tween and early teen because boys only got girls, not that girls could get girls. It wasn't until I saw Sailor Uranus and Neptune from Sailor Moon (and the Internet) before I learned what the word was and what the concept was. I've been out and comfortable with myself ever since. Thank you for being someone who provides this for the world.
2 years later and I have recently come out to my mom liking girls, this video made me cry 🥺 thank you for being such a amazing woman. I am very sad Wynonna earp stopped production because I will miss Wayhaught so much but I am glad that they got their happy ending! I love you 😊
I honestly think that you are the living embodiment of so many Wynonna Earp characters. You have the strength of waverly, the confidence of Nicole, the bravery of Wynonna, the honesty of Jeremy, the caring of Doc, the kindness of Dolls, the wisdom of Nedley, the protectiveness of mama Earp. In all the things you do and say, you show how much you believe in the goodness of humanity at heart, and in that you inspire all us earpers. You’re the best of us 💕
As a lesbian, the extent to which you, Kat, Emily, and the rest of the cast and crew care about representation truly means the world to me. So often in this community, it feels like we aren’t progressing. I feel like we’re shouting and we’re the only ones who can hear each other. But to have people like yourselves, who are not LGBTQ+ still care so strongly that they don’t just accept us but actually actively get involved to help us move forwards, shows that the world can change. It can be better than it is now. Thank you Dom!
Thank you for everything Dom, you are truly a super hero for not only the LGBTQ+ community but for everyone out there who feels like they did have a voice.. love you Dom, and thanks for everything💗💗
It does matter, you matter, I matter, we all matter... It is true and sad to see the current status of things in the world. But little by little ALL together can make a change. Thank you so much for your video! Greetings from Seattle!
She’s very knowledgeable and her messages are very powerful. Her care is unmatchable. she’s a great speaker and an inspiration to everyone not only in the community but to all mankind. She’s very well loved by everyone.
Love you too Dom! Yes we are slowly getting there. For that we need more actors willing to do those characters and more writers and show runners bold enough to make some noise. Emily Andras, Kat Barrell, Dominique Provost-Chalkley we can't thank you guys enough. Love is Stronger!!!
I love so much what she is doing with this channel and absolutely deserves more knowledge than it is already having, share it with everyone you know let's start the wave ❤️❤️
The world would be a better place if there're more people like you, Dom! You are such an inspiration and seeing you makes me started to believe that the world is really changing for the better
You are simply an amazing human being. It is not just in the way you bring truth to Waverly's portrayal of a lesbian women, but how you have embraced the community. You love us as much as we love you. Thank you. Sometimes in our journey to living our truths we lose friends and family. But then we also get to choose those whom we allow to become family. Thank you ... Little Sister!! 😍😙😙
I wanna see this chanel HUGE!!! Dominique is just amazing, so care and using her job (fame) to help other people, to make difference! I am very proud of being her fan and met this incredible woman and actress!!! I big hiiii from Brasil!! 😍✨✨✨✨
This. Every single word. I had to pause about 2/3 in because I started crying... It always gets me whenever someone talks about WHY positive representation is so important for all of us. Thank you for articulating this so well and using the right words for everything. x
You are so special.. You don't have idea how you means to me.. Give me support, courage, make me more strong. Last weekend a woman said some horrible things to me, my work is so hard and many times I left that place with some angry soul.. But when I was that way I always remember you and your words make happy and through sadness.. Thank you to be a Incredible person.
Obrigada por fazer esse trabalho por nós e por mostrar apoio a minha comunidade pessoal lá no Brasil, Deus sabe que ainda temos um longo caminho pela frente! Você eh um ser humano maravilhoso!! Thank you for doing the job you do for all of us and for supporting my “personal “ community down in Brazil, god knows we have a long way to go! You are a beautiful human!
Last week I did a presentation about start the wave because you inspire so many people and I wanted to spread your wave of change with my co students. It felt wonderfull to talk about this community you made.
Dom is such a good speaker. I hope she would post more. I hope she’ll have a podcast or a book. I will definitely buy. Such a ray of sunshine. I love you Dom. Hope to see you someday. #BringWynonnaHome #WynonnaEarp #Earper
Thanks for trying to bring awareness to the masses. Your gentle kindness, is a beautiful way of shining a caring light, on serious topics that mean the world to so many. Keep up the good fight. 💕
Thank you so much Dom. Nobody could do what you do and get the same results. With Wynonna Earp and this #start the wave you are doing so much good for the world. I’m not an adult yet. I used to be annoyed that growing up takes so long, but if it didn’t take me through the journey I have been on, I wouldn’t have been introduced to you. I can say with all my heart that when I grow up I hope to at least attain a tiny bit of what you have. I look up to you and I thank you and Kat for making my life a little bit more bearable. You’re a hero Dom. Keep being you.😊🥰☺️
Thank you for not only representing a queer character but also talking about it outside of the show. Representation is so incredibly important and i’m so glad Wynonna Earp is a show that represents things such as the LGBTQ+ community, depression and many more things real life people struggle with
You have no idea how right you are and how important you are to your fans! (Ok maybe you do) but seriously thanks for being you, you're wonderfull! ❤❤❤❤
Thank youuu Dom for being such an inspiration for all of us❣ your encourage and support to the comunity is truly a blessing, you have no idea how much I admire you and love youuu❣ sending you love from Chile🇨🇱❣
So much respect for this strong woman and the strong message she is spreading. We should take her example and spread the message even further. Again so much love and respect for her.
Thank you for taking your role and influence so seriously! It's honestly inspiring and I'm consistently amazed at what you learn and choose to put out into the world. We need more of that!
Eternas gracias!
As someone from a country with almost no proper media representation of minorities (Bulgaria, Europe), I've had to adapt to foreign pop culture to find what I didn't even know I needed. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy about it because I've truly discovered some amazing content (wouldn't have even known what the heck a Wynonna Earp was otherwise), which has largely helped shape me as a person, but a significant part of me feels so disconnected from my roots. I wouldn't want anyone else to feel this way, but I know that many do, and that's why it's so important to push for more and better representation. Thank you Dom, your Start The Wave content is truly so refreshing. Really appreciate it and stand by it
Dom, I can't even put in words how much I love you because of the positive message that you're spreading and the great role model that you are. It is amazing, and I just want to thank you.
Wow!..Totally WOW!..She all said it right..Representation really matters to all of us..not only for 1 type of human being but for ALL OF US..Our story could be other peoples life journey too..That is why it needs to be share positively and rightfully. And as far a I am watching TV..only few shows can portray good character representations..1 of the BEST not being bias is Wynonna Earp. All the characters are representing positively. Just recently, I learned that I helped a friend of mine because of the show. He told me He sees himself in Nicole's character. He is a police officer in our town. What connects him to Nicole is that, he once had a problem about doing the right thing and lying. A month ago, His girlfriend's dad committed a crime, so he is on the lookout list of the police. His girlfriend lied to him, because she kept her dad in one of their safe house away from the town. He knows how much his gf love her dad so much coz he is the only family member she dad since she was born as only child and her mother died when she was 8 because of cancer. To cut the story short, he told me when he accidentally found out that her gf is keeping her dad, he was torn between the Law and his love for his gf and soon to be wife. His gf ask him not to turn her dad to the police coz he will took them away from her. He had a hard time, which one to follow, but in the end he choose the Law. His gf may not understand the hard decision he has done, but I know soon she will recover from that pain. As of now, his gf is him are not in talking terms. I felt sad when I heard his story. He actually cried while watching the episode where Waverly and Nicole had a fight because of her mother. I never thought, he was having a hard time. He thanked me for sharing him the show. I felt happy that Wynonna Earp help another human being. Being a cop has never been easy thing. Especially if you are thorn between the Law and the people you care about. For me doing the right thing doesn't mean your doing good. But If your doing the good thing it means your doing right. Not all RIGHT are GOOD, But all GOOD are RIGHT. Thank You Start The Wave for this video. It does Help.
Thank you Dom! I love the way u tell & educate people in any possible positive ways. & u are not only doing lecture but also be the part of it, that’s the most impressive things for me. Love u always xoxo
I love how he is using his presence in the media to educate and inform people about issues that are not mentioned enough. Thanks for everything ❤.You are inspired me. I love you
I always say this and I'll keep saying: Dominique, you're so so so important for so many of us. Thank you for speaking up not only for the lgbtq community but for all the issues you think needs to be changed. You have such a powerful mind and you're always up to do things right and yet you use it to inspire all of us. Not only by traveling the world meeting fans and telling stories but also by creating this channel that talks about super important issues. Thank you for fighting, for always trying to be better and for the kindness you eradicates, you're incredible and i'm proud to have you as my role model. I love you ❤️
Dom, thank you for being you, thank you for being MY source of representation. It’s amazing to look on my screen on Friday nights & see your character giving me the representation I need. Waverly is such an important character to so many people. I appreciate you always 💜
Thank you so much for explaining so coherently why positive representation matters, I find my self explaining this constantly to people that don’t understand why is so important to me to see LGBTQ characters on TV and you are giving me right words to explain it, so thank you so so much!!
Yassss queenn! Thank you so much for being such a positive role model on and off screen Dom! I trully believe tha Wynonna Earp is the show with the most positive queer woman representation right now! We are going through a lot of rough patches here in Brazil, specially the LGBTQ+ community, but hopefully we are gonna get through all of this negativity
I am so excited the USA finally has a woman Vice President! Representation really does matter. Thank you!
i love how you are using your media presence to educate and inform the people about issues that aren’t talked about enough! x
So glad she talked about Brazil 😍😍
Thank you for being you, and creating an environment that is safe for young women, lgbtq+ humans, and others whom are inspired by you.

Exactement!

Thank you so much for explaining so coherently why positive representation matters, I find my self explaining this constantly to people that don’t understand why is so important to me to see LGBTQ characters on TV and you are giving me right words to explain it, so thank you so so much!!
Dominique, what you're doing is so amazing and rare. Thank you ❤
Loved this, we need more optimism in the world!! 🌏 Makes such an impact because you have already started to break down the barriers!!!
That thing she’s doing with her face, it’s doing something to me😍
