I own 5 pairs of Firmoo glasses & I have 3 eye diseases at the same time..glaucoma..sclerosis & iritis ..so have a lot of vision problems & so far cannot believe how great Firmoo's service has been..My favourite glasses cost an unbelievable £5 ..at 2.36 I think you are wearing one pair I own but I' he just had another pair made up today with a graduated purple lens with a clear acetate frame so I can read my books in the garden without glare..BTW..for a change I thing we here in the UK may for once being charged slightly less than you folks in the US..my glasses are definitely working out a lot less than what you quite here..however I haven't gone for any fancy coatings at al! To save on cost ..whose specs at 6.52 looked lovely in you ! ..the most common PD is around 63 btw x
As a former optician, now retired, I fully enjoyed your review of your new glasses. Due to your rather strong prescription two things you should always be doing is never order any glasses in a large frame size. The smaller the better. Also you should pay the extra to get the "high index" lenses in a 1.67 lens thickness. You said your previous glasses looked more like you were wearing binoculars rather than glasses. In our shop we referred to thick lenses as "Coke bottle bottoms" Not any better is it? But by getting your glasses made in smaller frames helps to make your lenses thinner also. Your nearsighted, so that the thinnest part of your lenses is in the very middle and you can even feel hoe they get thicker as they closer to the edges of your frames. Going smaller will also make them more light weight .I'm sure putting your glasses on over your contacts made it impossible for you to see anything. Usually people with a much weaker prescription won't dare to even put their glasses on over their contacts for fear of somehow doing harm to their eyesight. You really didn't make anything out of doing it. And that was fine because there is no harm in doing that even if you had kept your glasses on for hours over your contacts. You just wouldn't have been able to see hardly anything but no harm would have been done to your eyes. All of the glasses you got look really good on you and by thinned out your even with rather thin frames you hardly see any lens thickness. But i do have a couple questions for you. You ordered four new pairs of glasses. that would seem to indicate that you may have recently had an eye exam and needed an increase in your glasses and contacts? That's usually when most people order new glasses, especially when they order four pairs. Now that you have four really cute pairs of glasses that all look great on you are you going to start wearing glasses more often and contacts less often? One more question. I didn't see any new prescription sunglasses. You would be far more likely to wear your glasses more if you had prescription sunglasses to switch to. So by not having sunglasses in your prescription means you have to wear contacts if you plan to wear sunglasses. I'm not saying you should stop wearing contacts and only wear glasses but you really do look nice wearing glasses that you should at least add glasses as one of your "looks".

I chekced them out but more expensive for me and to add lesnes so i did zeelool this time have 8 pairs lol all prescription two have premium lenses with blue light blocking 1 has premium lesnes with tinting in the sun all have premium lenses then some are basic everyday lenses lol im fully addicted to getting glasses now lol i have to wear glasses lol as i have mphioa astigmatism in both and one eye is -4.00 -3.50 i really jumped up in just 2 years its nuts lol the pair i got covred they forgot the stuipd anit reflection so i hardly wear them as its horrible they dont even have anit scratch so i wear them on a lazy day or hair dying lol
What index of thinning did you get? 1.6? 1.67?

@@wildtangles You're not only quite nearsighted but you also have quite a bit of astigmatism correction as well. Your contacts are rather expensive since you wear "toric lenses" because of you're astigmatisms. Do you ever notice them moving around on your eyes? I'm surprised your apparently rather comfortable wearing contacts most all the time. You really shouldn't be wearing contacts more than 10 - 12 hours a day and not more than 5 days a week. More than that is abusing your eyes.
