You're wrong about the angels disappearing if their god of destruction is wiped out. Dont you remember the tournament? The angels were the only beings left untouched when their respective universe was erased and none of them were worried they would be and there's plenty of context clues in the dialogue surrounding this to let you know they'll be perfectly fine. Maybe your thinking of how the god of destruction of a universe will cease to exist if all of its kais die, not erased, just dead.
