Sad to see the situations and hope for Armenia to prosper from Iran
🇦🇲.
Armenia have wasted what was an extremely advantageous hand. For 30 years they held on to Nagorno-Karabakh and large parts of Azerbaijan proper - giving them the upper hand in any negotiated settlement. Instead they just sat on it thinking it would last forever.
Azerbaijan has meanwhile quietly bided its time, growing its economy and building its military. Now they have have taken back all their occupied land plus NK, and are openly threatening Armenia’s Syunik province. Russia is distracted and the international community won’t lift a finger if Armenia itself is invaded.

I doubt the two nations will ever found a solution for the Exclaves of Karki near Nakhchivan Sofulu and Yukhari Askipara near the border. Which are Azeri territories occupied by Armenia since the 90s. And Artvashen an Armenian exclave seized by Azerbaijan in the First Karabakh war.
Azerbaijan will come up with a “solution.” Armenia just won’t like it.
Those were made by USSR, so after the collapse of it, those 2 republics will fight over it.

So will azerbaijan not attack armenia anymore if artsakh becomes part of azerbaijan? (Which will yet be in the first ever day of 2024)
Unfortunately, there's very good reason to believe Azerbaijan will attack Armenia again at some point in the future. There was a promised "southern corridor" between Azerbaijan proper and its exclave of Nakhchivan as a counterpart to the Lachin corridor, but Armenia didn't (and probably won't voluntarily) open it. It's very likely that, with Russia currently unwilling to offer substantial help to Armenia, Iran distracted by internal issues, and Turkey firmly on Azerbaijan's side, Armenia will get attacked again either to open the promised "southern corridor" by force or march down existing roads to cut Armenia in half as a prelude to total conquest by Azerbaijan and/or Turkey.
Azerbaijan demanded that Armenia pay them a bunch of money as reparations, if they fail to pay this, they will demand the Zangezur corridor.
So much for CSTO.
CSTO has no obligation to help Armenia invade Azeri territory
@@Yanate1991 Actually it does have an article similar to Article 5 of NATO.

@@armenialegend_king7751 Watch the video
In the video, it seems as if Azerbaijan is occupying, but in reality, this situation is completely different, the Karabakh problem is a problem that has been going on for almost 100 years, and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Armenia attempted to occupy Karabakh for historical reasons, and because the Russian Empire deliberately settled Armenians in this region in the past, Armenia claimed rights here, but as everyone knows, this region is currently within the borders of Azerbaijan and every nation recognizes it. I have seen in the comments those who say "No one is helping Armenia except Russia", but this is completely wrong, diplomatically almost all western countries are on the side of Armenia, but on the other hand, There are only two countries that supporting Azerbaijan on their side, Turkey and Israel. As you can see on the map, there are strange protrusions on the borders of Armenia, most of these regions were occupied by Armenia around the 2000s, Azerbaijan has been turning a blind eye to this problem for years and did not take any action because it did not have enough support, but recently Azerbaijan also received sufficient support and started to organize operations against Armenia, even Now Russia is largely on Azerbaijan's side.
No one helped Armenia except Russia, a token diplomatic protest is not "helping." Armenia voted in an anti Russian government and are now paying the price of abandoning their only ally.
@@chadthundercock4806 That's why I said recently that Russia now supports Azerbaijan. My words to people said "Armenia has no allies or supporters", but Azerbaijan doesn't either, that's mostly what I tried to explain. Even though the West does not support militarily, their diplomatic support is great, otherwise this war would have ended long ago.
@@thehurricanegod Azeris have both Turkey and Israel as very close allies who are willing to sell them the best NATO weapons
@@saberspamofficial There is no such thing as "best NATO weapons" my friend, both countries can sell their own products, marketing NATO weapons is against NATO rules. The weapons sold are not important enough to affect the fate of the war. If that were the case, the war would have ended already so Azerbaijan is a stronger state both militarily and economically compared to Armenia. Until recently, Russia was also helping Armenia, so with the help of Turkey and Israel, the situation was almost equal. Until last year.

Hi.
Technically speaking, because Armenia refuses to sign a definitive peace treaty and deliminate the border, the "seized" territories can't be considered seized. Besides, they held 1/5th of Azerbaijan for 30 years, what's 150km2 for them?
No. That has been Armenian territory, until Stalin gifted it to azeris to win support of turks. Over 90% of that lands were inhabited by indegenous population of the region - Armenians. They were fighting for their right to live on their land, which they lived in for 2000 years.
@@movsesk.6655 Stalin gifted Zangezur and Goyce, now known as Sunik and Sevan to Armenia, Karabakh STAYED within Azerbaijan because of stronger economic and cultural ties. As for population, until the tsar occupation Irevan Khanate was ruled and domiated by Azerbaijanis and until 1988 Sevan and Sunik had a majority Azerbaijani population. Bx this logic, we should be entitled to all those lands right? Nope, it's armenian territory now, we can only respect it.

I don't understand. How could Russia help Armenia? The President of Armenia himself signed the agreement and recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan. Not to mention the fact that Armenia supports Ukraine and helps kill Russians. Then I have a question. How should Russia intervene if the President of Armenia gave up Karabakh? Invade the legitimate lands of Azerbaijan? Russian peacekeepers did everything they could to evacuate the Armenians of Karabakh and provide humanitarian aid. But we had no right to interfere in the conflict, given that now this would be a violation of international law, because we would no longer defend the lands of Armenia, but would attack the universally recognized territory of Azerbaijan. It’s easier for Armenians to blame anyone (Russia, the EU, the USA), but not their corrupt president.
