Anthony. I’ve noticed in past videos what you don’t use in peppers you throw out. Peppers are expensive. Just cut up the rest of the pepper and put it in a small zip lock bag and freeze it. It won’t take any room at all and the next time time you need peppers you have some. Don’t waste it.
yes, yellow onions are the ones we use for onion rings and carmalizing to put on burgers. I think white are super tart-for salads. I sautee my beef too, then pour them into the crock pot, then I pour water into the sautee pan and scrape the beef bits to make a juice-then pour that into the crock pot-all day cooking. It's called deglazing-and it also helps it be an easy clean up on the pan. I hope you have a fun campground trip with your new topper! Bush Gardens too?! Can't wait to hear about that-never been.
You could simply just sear the beef with seasoning, add water or beef stock and let the meat cook for 1-2 hours then add in veggies and once those have cooked down, add in curry. Meat will be tender.
One would ask that question due to their pallet. A sweet onion makes a big difference when you are making a savory dish. I am a huge fan of Vadilia Onions no other sweet onion can compare. But you always have to wait for the season. @latoyathomas8862 I totally agree with you.
I like the yellow ones. I just like their flavor profile. I like the red ones raw like in tuna, corn, broccoli or potato salad. My Aunt used to do white onions sliced and covered and cheese baked casserole so delicious!!!
I add a little vinegar to the meat when it’s cooking in it’s sauce. The vinegar tenderizes the meat. I make beef stew all the time and it comes out very tender in only an 1 1/2 hours.
Marinate in some cornstarch for about 30 minutes and then brown in skillet before putting it in the pot. It will be tender like the beef in Chinese food!
I just finished up my last meal which I made from those SAME japanese curry cubes. I made mine with chicken, potatoes, carrots and onions (that's the classic way). I also threw in some green beans (not too many). Delicious!!!!! I don't think you cooked yours long enough (as far as the beef being tender enough).
Anthony you are one of the best youtubers out here. Excellent personality, genuine, very respectful to who your audience may be or not be😅. No keep being silly when I feel down I can turn you on and be okay with life so thank you!! I really want to try and go on the cruise. I will try and find someone to go with so I will have company. I agree with others you can definitely tell white onions from yellow onions especially when using in it's raw form. Personally I always buy the the yellow onions that say sweet. I do NOT like brown rice either. I know they say it's better for you, but give me some white rice 😅😅
Anthony, of course you can tell a Sweet onion taste from a white, non-sweet onion. One reason you know the difference even before you cook, is chopping them up. Remember the tears that flow from some onions? Sweet onions don't make you tear up!! Hello!!😢
Hey Anthony! Hope all is well. You can try 2 things to help tenderize your beef. 1) use a meat tenderizer to pound the beef a little. 2) “Velvet” the beef. Take about 3/4 tsp baking soda and massage it into the meat. Let it marinate about 30 minutes then rinse the meat off and pat thoroughly dry. Proceed with cooking as you like.
yes vidalia are a taste of there own , white onions are sweeter, especially cooked. lol Anthony you crack me up lol. We have a Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Va. Its about the same price unless you get the membership. I just ride the train all day and get off at different eating locations in the countries around the park, lol🤣
Anthony, yes, onions have different sweetness. I can tell. The yellow onion is strong in flavor. White onion is sweet and the Vidalia ones are even sweeter. We cook them in sweet and sour chicken. We use the purple onions for fresh salads because they are mild in flavor.
Anthony u need to remember to look at camera and not viewing screen or whatever they call it. When looking at camera it will make u look like u are looking directly at the viewers and joy off to the side. Thank you.
Hey Anthony! You need a small dog to keep you company and alert you when anyone comes around your camper. I’m a foster mom and I just feel they brighten our lives and you are saving one less baby from starving and being alone. . God bless you…🙏
For stewed beef, you need to use chuck. Simmer the beef at least 3 hours. Occasionally, use a fork to pierce the beef. If the fork easily pierces the meat, it's tender. If not, keep simmering it.
If you use a bit of baking soda and water mixed with your beef for a min. of 15 minutes (I do 30 min) then rinse it and cook as usual it breaks down the fibers. Look up how to velvet beef. Works every time.
Thank you for explaining about the insulation situation.😊 Makes a lot of sense. I don’t think I would have paid an extra 2K either as that seems excessive!!! I just pray the foam will do the job for you and keep you warm!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 For the record…YES…the onions do have a different flavor/taste in your dishes. I prefer white onions over yellow onions any day, but yellow onions are more readily available. My favorite onions are the Vidalia ones. In your fried potatoes and onions…you can tell!!! In your homemade sage and onion stuffing you can most definitely tell!!!!! There’s a distinct difference in taste. I’m someone that used to not like onions at all, but I’ve acquired a taste for them AND salt as flavor enhancers ONLY!!
Mr. Anthony, the next time you cook beef, put a sprinkle of baking soda on it and let it sit for 30 mins to 1 hr...it will make it super tender. The baking soda tenderizes the fibers in the meat.
Hey yes different taste in the onions and for the beef marinade the beef in 2 or 3 caps full of vinegar and 1 & half cup of water tablespoon of salt for about 2 hours then put in cooker about 3 and a half hour it will fall apart tender.
Even though I use curry, I always add onion/garlic powder and little all-purpose. I don't add salt to anything since salt is already added to many things. It looks good.
Anthony trust me you can tell! The yellow onion has a stronger taste. Imo. There is a sweeter taste in the white onion, less aftertaste and most definitely less gas producing. I had eaten yellow onions all my life but I swop them for the white, which I came to love. I think you will to.😊love the show,❤
My opinion; Generally, to me, a white onion is sweeter than a yellow or purple onion, with a milder flavor that makes it a good choice for eating raw in salads or sandwiches; while yellow onions tend to have a stronger, more pungent flavor.
Hello Mr. Anthony... I tried the little pies at Walmart ( peacan, and a cinnamon cake) they were pretty good i was hoping to try the lemon but I guess they were all out..I hope you have a great day/ night...Safe travels.
Anthony, sear your beef and then add one cup of beef broth to your pressure cooker... I add onions and diced carrots for extra flavor... Put your pressure cooker on high and cook for an hour... That does the trick... Or add the broth and slow-cook for six... Also, try getting beef short ribs from Aldi... They take a little less work to get tender and they're a fair price...
Wow! I remember paying $150 for Disneyland Magic Kingdom combo ticket with California Adventure. We went to Busch Gardens Virginia back in 2019 and the price of an adult ticket was around $80
You just probably need to eat the brown rice more often and your taste buds will adjust. I actually prefer it to white rice now. Also, I season it separately to the rest of the dish, except at Chipotle.
Onions 🧅 definitely have different flavor and taste! Like 🍅 🍅 have different way of using them! Apples 🍎🍏 have different crunch and textures! Same thing with Curry, Thai, Japanese, Chinese! Same with different rice, Japanese rice is Sticky, Chinese rice is dry and falls off fork, Indian jasmine rice.
Hey brother that sure look good but I will take you at.ur word it's not the best 😮I'm not a fan of brown rice so take care until next time it's cold in NY but no snow where I live yet later ❤❤❤
Yellow onions are hotter and burn your eyes worse and season soups and stews very well. White onions are milder or, " sweeter " and are good on salads, sandwiches, or on Mexican foods and Purple or ' red ' onions are best raw like in salads. They are all 3 very different flavors. Taste them raw, you'll see. 😅
Hola bola saludos Anthony why didn't u use ur pressure cooker and save urself all that trouble 5 hrs when u could get done 5 minutes; and I feel there's to many flavors going on at the same time for a person who eats white rice most of the time 😊
Hey now! Anthony, why don't you just do an onions taste challenge lol between the yellow, white, and make it interesting with the red onions, make onion rings, white onions taste better with cilantro 😂
😁. Do not buy the beef cut up. Buy it whole, as it needs the fat to keep it moist. Try to pick a small enough size to fit in your slow cooker, without having to cut it in small chunks. If you have to cut it, cut in half but do not remove the fat. Do not cut down until after the beef is fully cooked, as it should then be very tender. Do not over season the beef. It’s not necessary. Salt and pepper is all this type of beef needs. Less is more. Do not add water to the slow cooker, and cook slow. Most importantly, buy a high quality cut of beef, not that Walmart garbage. I suggest Costco or Whole Foods. If this doesn’t work, then it’s you, not the beef 😏because it’s one of my favorites. I only buy from Costco or Whole Foods though, and again buy it whole, with the fat still attached.👌🏽
Anthony, the white onions are more intense than the yellow onions. When cooking certain dishes, I may what the strong flavor of the white onion vs yellow or red. lol, there is a difference.
I feel the same about brown rice. I grew up with white rice and I just can't wrap my 'tongue' around it lol I do enjoy wild rice. It is savory and better for you. Just a suggestion. Love that you are adventurous with food! ❤
The main problem wit buying already cut up beef stew meat is that most of the time, the meat is from different cuts! Which in turn have different textures and tenderness after cooking. You'll have much better results if you buy a cut of beef and cut it into cubes yourself! I've been so disappointed so many times in the past with beef stew meat already cut up!
When it comes to curry ,, I like to eat white rice, jasmine rice, or basmati rice , only time I have brown rice is with other types of meal and the instant one is not as good as just cooking the regular brown rice
Yellow onions are strong and make you cry, white onions are a lil bit milder. Vidalia onions are sweet and honestly you can taste the difference and not with Tofu yuck!! Lol
Beef cubes have to cook for hours and if you take the lid off to add broccoli thn the slo cooker has to get real hot all over again, cause it cools it down. Absolutely sear your beef, but I let mine cook on high for like 8nhours, all day...
Anthony. I’ve noticed in past videos what you don’t use in peppers you throw out. Peppers are expensive. Just cut up the rest of the pepper and put it in a small zip lock bag and freeze it. It won’t take any room at all and the next time time you need peppers you have some. Don’t waste it.
He’s flushing money down the toilet! People complain about the cost of food and waste half of it. I can’t stand it when a parent makes their 3 year old a whole sandwich and they eat 1/3 of it and throw the rest in the garbage! Wasteful people don’t know how to shop and never save money.
Anthony. I’ve noticed in past videos what you don’t use in peppers you throw out. Peppers are expensive. Just cut up the rest of the pepper and put it in a small zip lock bag and freeze it. It won’t take any room at all and the next time time you need peppers you have some. Don’t waste it.
I started doing this with my peppers and onions and it's such a hack. Plus its nice when I go to cook something they're already diced
I’ve always loved your honesty in your meals.
yes, yellow onions are the ones we use for onion rings and carmalizing to put on burgers. I think white are super tart-for salads. Ok
You definitely can taste the sweetness of the types of onion
You could simply just sear the beef with seasoning, add water or beef stock and let the meat cook for 1-2 hours then add in veggies and once those have cooked down, add in curry. Meat will be tender.

It sure is!
Happy Holidays!🎄🍽🤗
I’ve always used yellow onions, so much yummy flavor, just my opinion
I like the yellow ones. I just like their flavor profile.
I like the red ones raw like in tuna, corn, broccoli or potato salad.
My Aunt used to do white onions sliced and covered and cheese baked casserole so delicious!!!
I don't like brown rice either ! But I'm sure it's good it looks good tho ! Happy Holidays to you my friend ❤️
You always have the best looking tasty dishes. Another recipe I will ass to my collection
Different varieties of onions have different levels of sweetness and heat. There are even super sweet varieties like Walla Walla and Vidalia.
I'm not a fan of the white onion, but I do love the yellow small cooking onion adds a lot of flavor to gravy, frying liver smothered chicken!!! 🐔🧅🧄😊😋
Yes, I live in WA and Walla Walla's are what we eat fresh with collards
I love onions i never had walla walla or Vidalia. I want try them now.
Walla walla onions are the best sweet onions. They make the best onion rings!
Maui sweet
I add a little vinegar to the meat when it’s cooking in it’s sauce. The vinegar tenderizes the meat. I make beef stew all the time and it comes out very tender in only an 1 1/2 hours.

Hi 👋 Anthony. Happy Day. Nice 👍 Video. Your meal look delicious. ❤
Yes, you can tell the difference between the onions. It may not change the flavor of the entire meal but when you eat the onion in it, you can tell.
Fun Video idea. Buy a yellow, white, red onion and do a taste test raw then cooked😉
I typically cook those beef tips for 6 to 8 hours on low in my crockpot and they are super tender. I mean falling apart.
Thank you for sharing your video❤
Switching it up to beef from chicken lol😋👌👌👌😋😋😋
I agree with you on the brown rice white rice is what I use all the time.😂
Yes there is a difference in the taste of the onions. Just like there’s a difference eating the seeds from a pepper adds some bitterness to the meal 😊
The yellow onion is so much sweet. The burgers with onions be caramel even raw. You can taste the difference.
HOW IS LAMONT??????
Hello, I was just getting ready to text the same message!!😊
Anthony you are one of the best youtubers out here. Excellent personality, genuine, very respectful to who your audience may be or not be😅. Why can he use the good old pressure cooker , the pressure cooker will cook the meat in 20 minutes
I like the fact that you got through that brown rice I know it wasn't easy❤
yes vidalia are a taste of there own , white onions are sweeter, especially cooked. lol Anthony you crack me up lol. We have a Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Va. Its about the same price unless you get the membership. I just ride the train all day and get off at different eating locations in the countries around the park, lol🤣
Hello
Mr Anthony
Food looks good
I knew the hot sauce and pepper was coming before you added it. 😂😂😂😂
Fun time 😊❤🎉agree with you on the brown rice
Anthony, yes, onions have different sweetness. I can tell. The yellow onion is strong in flavor. White onion is sweet and the Vidalia ones are even sweeter. We cook them in sweet and sour chicken. We use the purple onions for fresh salads because they are mild in flavor.

It's been suggested so many times. It appears he likes looking at himself while talking.
Hey Anthony! You need a small dog to keep you company and alert you when anyone comes around your camper. I’m a foster mom and I just feel they brighten our lives and you are saving one less baby from starving and being alone. . God bless you…🙏
Anthony have you try an electric pressure cooker, call instant pot, cook in a hour and will be tender.
Hi Anthony. It took me awhile to get use to brown rice too.
Not a good taste.
Meat tenderizer would be your best choice 😋
Yes Mr Anthony. There is a difference in taste with Dem onions
For stewed beef, you need to use chuck. Simmer the beef at least 3 hours. Occasionally, use a fork to pierce the beef. If the fork easily pierces the meat, it's tender. If not, keep simmering it.

Whew I am gonna try this
Anthony I usually like to slow cook beef for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Thank you for explaining about the insulation situation.😊 Makes a lot of sense. I don’t think I would have paid an extra 2K either as that seems excessive!!! Hi Anthony,
Happy Holidays ❣️
Thanks for clarity. I was wondering why they didn't insulate your truck topper, too😊🙏🏾🙏🏾
Happy Friday Anthony
Supersonic was my jam. Lol
Mr. Anthony, the next time you cook beef, put a sprinkle of baking soda on it and let it sit for 30 mins to 1 hr...it will make it super tender. The baking soda tenderizes the fibers in the meat.

The meat looked fine it wasn’t overly seared for me😊
The red onion is sweeter than the white and the yellow that's why they use it in sandwiches
Hey Anthony enjoy❤God Bless
Glad you explained about the topper insulation. This should put it to rest. The End!
It's honestly the same way you can tell a granny smith apple from a honeycrisp apple.
Thank you for my food , Amen
Also I can tell the flavors of the onions because I use to eat alot of raw onions on my hot dogs growing up lol
I rather have no rice than brown rice 😅. Basmati rice is my favorite... I always cook it in broth & spices, it js helps elevate the flavor.
Yellow onions are sweeter, it's not going to be sweet in a savory dish but it enhances the flavor of your food more than a white onion
Anthony trust me you can tell! The yellow onion has a stronger taste. Imo. There is a sweeter taste in the white onion, less aftertaste and most definitely less gas producing. I had eaten yellow onions all my life but I swop them for the white, which I came to love. I think you will to.😊love the show,❤
I don’t like brown rice either, and I’m not good with beef either always tough when I cook it .
My opinion;
Generally, to me, a white onion is sweeter than a yellow or purple onion, with a milder flavor that makes it a good choice for eating raw in salads or sandwiches; while yellow onions tend to have a stronger, more pungent flavor.
Hi Anthony!! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁✝️
Hello Mr. Anthony... I tried the little pies at Walmart ( peacan, and a cinnamon cake) they were pretty good i was hoping to try the lemon but I guess they were all out..I hope you have a great day/ night...Safe travels.
I used these to make potroast in place of a more expensive roast. Tasted good!
Anthony, sear your beef and then add one cup of beef broth to your pressure cooker... I add onions and diced carrots for extra flavor... Put your pressure cooker on high and cook for an hour... That does the trick... Or add the broth and slow-cook for six...

Vidalia onions frm Georgia are delicious and some folks eat them like an apple !!! LOL
Wow! I remember paying $150 for Disneyland Magic Kingdom combo ticket with California Adventure. We went to Busch Gardens Virginia back in 2019 and the price of an adult ticket was around $80

Hi Anthony the sweet onions are called Valdalia. Yellow onions are Spanish is stronger white not as strong. Then there’s the red or purple onions.
Hi Anthony, is it possible to get the info on your ice machine? The sweetest onions are the Vidalia onions. Good cooking.
Hey brother that sure look good but I will take you at.ur word it's not the best 😮I'm not a fan of brown rice so take care until next time it's cold in NY but no snow where I live yet later ❤❤❤
Hello Anthony you mentioned in a earlier video Why you didn’t have the insulation installed. 😊
You can definitely taste the difference in raw onions, some are sweeter, some are bitter
Yellow onions are hotter and burn your eyes worse and season soups and stews very well. White onions are milder or, " sweeter " and are good on salads, sandwiches, or on Mexican foods and Purple or ' red ' onions are best raw like in salads. They are all 3 very different flavors. You can do half brown and white rice
Hey now! Anthony, why don't you just do an onions taste challenge lol between the yellow, white, and make it interesting with the red onions, make onion rings, white onions taste better with cilantro 😂
I've never seen you wash your veggies
😁. Do not buy the beef cut up. Buy it whole, as it needs the fat to keep it moist. Try to pick a small enough size to fit in your slow cooker, without having to cut it in small chunks. Anthony, the white onions are more intense than the yellow onions. When cooking certain dishes, I may what the strong flavor of the white onion vs yellow or red. lol, there is a difference.
Wow! $2k seems a lot to insulate that tiny space. Did that include putting panels over top the insulation?
I suggested you to use Adolph's Meat Tenderizer, on the stew beef. Did you use it?
I did too, maybe he did, maybe, lol.
I agree with you. Now maybe in onion soup or an omelette or something that the onion is almost raw. Maybe.
I feel the same about brown rice. I grew up with white rice and I just can't wrap my 'tongue' around it lol I do enjoy wild rice. It is savory and better for you. Just a suggestion. Love that you are adventurous with food! ❤

Anthony I can’t tell if its sweeter sometimes i can tell if its stronger
I REMEMBER SEEING 👀 THIS VIDEO EARLIER THIS WEEK . DID YOU JUST RELOADED IT AGAIN .😮
When you buy the beef cubes pursue make sure they have fat running through it. If they're too lean they're going to be dry
Vidalia onions actually are sweet.
Hey Frienn👋🏾For me the red onion is sweeter…
Yellow onions are strong and make you cry, white onions are a lil bit milder. Vidalia onions are sweet and honestly you can taste the difference and not with Tofu yuck!! Lol

It's the smell of the onions
I live in Tampa $80 for Busch Gardens in the hood is wild lol
Anthony. I’ve noticed in past videos what you don’t use in peppers you throw out. Peppers are expensive. Just cut up the rest of the pepper and put it in a small zip lock bag and freeze it. It won’t take any room at all and the next time time you need peppers you have some. Don’t waste it.
He's always been VERY WASTEFUL.
He’s flushing money down the toilet! People complain about the cost of food and waste half of it. I can’t stand it when a parent makes their 3 year old a whole sandwich and they eat 1/3 of it and throw the rest in the garbage! Wasteful people don’t know how to shop and never save money.
