Anthony. I’ve noticed in past videos what you don’t use in peppers you throw out. Peppers are expensive. Just cut up the rest of the pepper and put it in a small zip lock bag and freeze it. It won’t take any room at all and the next time time you need peppers you have some. Don’t waste it.

I started doing this with my peppers and onions and it's such a hack. Plus its nice when I go to cook something they're already diced

yes, yellow onions are the ones we use for onion rings and carmalizing to put on burgers. I think white are super tart-for salads. I sautee my beef too, then pour them into the crock pot, then I pour water into the sautee pan and scrape the beef bits to make a juice-then pour that into the crock pot-all day cooking. It's called deglazing-and it also helps it be an easy clean up on the pan. I hope you have a fun campground trip with your new topper! Bush Gardens too?! Can't wait to hear about that-never been.

You could simply just sear the beef with seasoning, add water or beef stock and let the meat cook for 1-2 hours then add in veggies and once those have cooked down, add in curry. Meat will be tender.

One would ask that question due to their pallet. A sweet onion makes a big difference when you are making a savory dish. I am a huge fan of Vadilia Onions no other sweet onion can compare. But you always have to wait for the season. @latoyathomas8862 I totally agree with you.

I agree with others you can definitely tell white onions from yellow onions especially when using in it's raw form. Personally I always buy the the yellow onions that say sweet. I do NOT like brown rice either. I know they say it's better for you, but give me some white rice 😅😅

Anthony, of course you can tell a Sweet onion taste from a white, non-sweet onion.
One reason you know the difference even before you cook, is chopping them up. Remember the tears that flow from some onions? Sweet onions don't make you tear up!!

Hey Anthony! Hope all is well. You can try 2 things to help tenderize your beef. 1) use a meat tenderizer to pound the beef a little. 2) “Velvet” the beef. Take about 3/4 tsp baking soda and massage it into the meat. Let it marinate about 30 minutes then rinse the meat off and pat thoroughly dry. Proceed with cooking as you like.

For stewed beef, you need to use chuck. Simmer the beef at least 3 hours. Occasionally, use a fork to pierce the beef. If the fork easily pierces the meat, it's tender. If not, keep simmering it.

Thank you for explaining about the insulation situation.😊 Makes a lot of sense. I don’t think I would have paid an extra 2K either as that seems excessive!!! I just pray the foam will do the job for you and keep you warm!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 For the record…YES…the onions do have a different flavor/taste in your dishes. I prefer white onions over yellow onions any day, but yellow onions are more readily available. My favorite onions are the Vidalia ones. In your fried potatoes and onions…you can tell!!! In your homemade sage and onion stuffing you can most definitely tell!!!!! There’s a distinct difference in taste. I’m someone that used to not like onions at all, but I’ve acquired a taste for them AND salt as flavor enhancers ONLY!!

😁. Do not buy the beef cut up. Buy it whole, as it needs the fat to keep it moist. Try to pick a small enough size to fit in your slow cooker, without having to cut it in small chunks. If you have to cut it, cut in half but do not remove the fat. Do not cut down until after the beef is fully cooked, as it should then be very tender. Do not over season the beef. It’s not necessary. Salt and pepper is all this type of beef needs. Less is more. Do not add water to the slow cooker, and cook slow. Most importantly, buy a high quality cut of beef, not that Walmart garbage. I suggest Costco or Whole Foods. If this doesn’t work, then it’s you, not the beef 😏because it’s one of my favorites. I only buy from Costco or Whole Foods though, and again buy it whole, with the fat still attached.👌🏽

The main problem wit buying already cut up beef stew meat is that most of the time, the meat is from different cuts! Which in turn have different textures and tenderness after cooking. You'll have much better results if you buy a cut of beef and cut it into cubes yourself! I've been so disappointed so many times in the past with beef stew meat already cut up!

He’s flushing money down the toilet! People complain about the cost of food and waste half of it. I can’t stand it when a parent makes their 3 year old a whole sandwich and they eat 1/3 of it and throw the rest in the garbage! Wasteful people don’t know how to shop and never save money.
