Bourbon Tasting: Zero Proof Whiskeys?

My wife and I decided to do a dry February. I have heard about some zero proof (no alcohol) whiskeys and thought I would get a few to try. And somehow, I was able to coax Jamie Rund to join me for a tasting.

Ritual Zero Proof Whiskey Alternative (www.ritualzero...)
Spiritless Kentucky 74 (spiritless.com...)
I'll cut to the chase: NONE of these resembles bourbon and whiskey in aroma or taste. The SoBour is down right awful. I could tolerate Free Spirits and Ritual. I'm probably going to try and make non-alcoholic cocktails with these to see if they have any hope.
