When the sinful nature wins and drives me to enjoy secular music, I always lose myself in its music. But when I come to heavily anointed songs like these, I am overwhelmed with the presence of our father; I am pierced in my heart, because I feel and remember our fathers' love, through this. My papa speaks to my heart in this way, reminding me that secular music is inwardly dead because it has no love in it, but not with his music. Because his music, is pure love, true love: CITIZENS, our fathers' music. 😞🙏
This music is extremely anointed. No other music hugs my heart like this music does, it evokes a very restful feeling of serenity, our fathers' presence. The reason: our father has anointed it!! As well, as a gifted song writer here, who is great at composing melodies; there is no lyric or chord progression, or melody that I have found in all of my exploration and composition of music, that comes anywhere close to this level of love that embraces me here-through the music of our fathers' beloved CITIZENS. I thank our father, I THANK our father!! 😭🙏🙏

Been listening to you guys for 10 years now and I'm loving where your music is at right now. This song has been a prayer of mine over the last few months walking into the church house. I also love the fact that the chorus melody just sits on that 9th of the chord like Only Jesus.
