- Das Warten hat ein Ende, hier präsentieren wir unser Jubiläumsbike!
Wer das Making-of auf unserer Website verfolgt hat, kann sich ungefähr vorstellen, wie viel Arbeit darin steckt. Und was sollen wir sagen? Wir haben es gerne gemacht!
Ein Highlight reiht sich an das nächste. Besonders stolz sind wir auf unsere selbst konstruierten Teile, wie die Oldschool-Springergabel, das 5-Speichen-Vorderrad und unzählige weitere Teile. Kombiniert mit denen, die wir in klassischer Handarbeit hergestellt haben, wie den Auspuff, der innerhalb des Rahmens läuft, haben wir einen echten Knaller zu unserem 35. Geburtstag gebaut.
Der Chopper ist unfassbar schmal: Sieht man von den Fußrasten ab, misst das Bike an der breitesten Stelle nur 45 Zentimeter.
Getoppt wird unsere Arbeit durch die irre Lackierung in strahlenden Goldtönen und den sehr feinen Details, die unser Sattler und der Gravierer beigetragen haben.

The waiting is over, here we present our anniversary bike!
Whoever has followed the making-of on our website can roughly imagine how much work has gone into it. And what should we say? We did it with pleasure!
One highlight follows the next. We are especially proud of our self-designed parts, like the oldschool jumping fork, the 5-spoke front wheel and countless other parts. Combined with the ones we made in classic handcraft, like the exhaust that runs inside the frame, we built a real firecracker for our 35th birthday.
The chopper is unbelievably narrow: if you take the footrests off, the bike measures only 45 centimeters at its widest point.
Our work is topped by the crazy paint in bright gold tones and the very fine details, which were contributed by our saddler and the engraver.

that is one nice chopper.
I built my first chopper in 1971 and the first thing I realized was that the fuel tank only allowed me 20 minutes of riding before it needed to be gassed up again. From then on I always built 3 gallon tanks that fit the look of the bike being built but allowed me to take long rides in the country. That first bike still sits in my living room to this day. All of the rest got built and sold and with every sale I always got praised for the fuel capacity without sacrificing the look. You built a beautiful chopper very reminiscent of 68-72 era.
In one word, "Gorgeous".

Sehr schónes Chopper Bike , aber nichts fur einen "Alten Mann" wie ich, weil ich denke auch von euch zu horen das er sicher auf die StaBe liegt, doch lieber einen etwas robusteren Fetteren Bike wo ich nicht das idee habe das ich gleich weg Fliege, aber schon isses fur im Wohnzimmer oder in einen Eingangs bereich von einer Wohnung oder Haus sehr schone Arbeit von eurer Team.

Just my observation on your swedechop, you've manufactured a dual rear drive sprocket/ brake disk.
It's a great concept, but oil and debris from the chain could create problems with the disk surface contact pressure.
Wouldn't a belt drive configuration have been better? even taking into account the wider tooth driving area.
Still a great looking bike, congratulations on 35 years of biking business.

Heey Kevan, many thanks 😎🤘..The concept is often used in the chopper scene. It works well because the centrifugal force pushes the dirt outwards and not on the braking surface.
