I mean: this girl was so mistreated and thrown all over the place in all senses (confidence, body wise, musically, career)... it is so refreshing and hopeful to see this phase of her life and career, which is finally starting to give us a true insight over her artistry and personality. I've been going through a lot of mental issues dealing with how I was sexually abuse as a child for 7 years, and when I finally put that man in jail, 4 months later was sexually assaulted and almost murdered . Kesha sharing her story had brought light to people like me , and she has saved me by being so brave , and her music has absolutely changed my life . I knew to expect some heart warming music from her, but didn't know how much she would actually affect me . Of course all of us were fans of her party music, but I didn't know she would change my life . I cry every time I see her talking about things , because you can see in her eyes how she's still affected , but perseveres any ways. She and Lady Gaga opening up about their sexual abuse stories, has truly helped me . Music has saved my life many times. So when Gaga came out with the song till it happens to you, it was literal days after I was sexually assaulted and almost killed and was laughed at by police because I'm a dude. Kesha's music has came at a point in my life where I'm trying to be normal again, I can barely leave my house for weeks on end, and her song has brought me faith in something, whatever it is.
