I have no idea what the thought process there was. Absolutely no one should have taken face damage and he should have hard targeted the thing that was gonna draw a billion cards
Footfall Crater is one of my favorite underrated cards! It's such a nice, simple effect that is still EXTREMELY valuable in any deck that intends to have big beefy attackers without built in trample, and it cycles! So even if you don't need it late in the game, you can trade it out for a fresh draw. It's such a nice little piece that no one will ever consider targeting with removal. It's also fun cuz it can target ANY creature, making it great for politics or helping an opponent swing for lethal at someone that was otherwise just going to chump-block. Wonderful little card!
That's the power of a thumbs-up... 👍 That's how much of a difference Krark's Thumb makes in a coin flip deck. When the success chance is 75% instead of 50%, crazy stuff happens. It's also the main reason why a lot of people hate Krarkashima (Krark + Sakashima) decks.
I also have a Zndrsplt and Okaun deck. I had a game where i also had them both and a Krark's thumb out. I won 25 coinflips, which made Okaun a 100663296 power creature. The follow up Chandra's Ingnition was a little bit of the top of everybody elses lifetotals ;-) I haven't played the deck since then .....
I use Footfall Crater in my thromok deck. Ate about 9 tokens, made him a 99/99. Gave activate crater to one shot somebody and then used Fling on someone else. Fun times
Is this the final form of your Magus Lucea Kane build? that ruin crab milling a 3rd of their libraries was pretty funny, at that point, i would think about adding more funny creatures with landfall abilities like spitfire lagac, scute swarm, tunneling geopede, zendikars roil, territorial scythecat, rampaging baloths, nesting dragon or other funny landfall creatures you find (i can only think of those atm which is why i named them, no other particular reason besides those being my personal favorite 😅)
I definitely think that Nissa downtick should've targeted that trample enchantment, and not because of the Daretti - krark's thumb is definitely dangerous, but Okaun can be chumped if he doesn't have that trample, no matter how big he got!
That's why you don't randomly throw 3 damage from Valakut at faces when there are much more relevant targets on the board like Zndrsplt and Faldorn.

Andrew always does suboptimal plays. It's his calling card. Just look at his deckbuilding skills. Some of the cards are *scratches head*.
@@thengine7 If I can’t be good, I’m consistent then!
@@thengine7yea. That lucea Kane deck can be so much stronger if he focused on xspells and not landfall.
@@thengine7 Almost as if people play casual commander for fun rather than being competitive
I will bang the drum forever that Open the Way is an underrated card for any big-mana green deck, but in Magus Lucea Kane, it's a house and a half.
I’ve also found that Citanul Flute goes from bulk rare to incredibly good.
This is why we play removal folks.

Videos que alegran mi día a día, gracias por este nuevo video

Coin flip is a 0 or 100 deck depending entirely on Krark's Thumb haha but thats why we love it!
like 1/4 of the precon is centered around tutoring for artifacts and bringing them back from the grave for that reason lmao
Oh boy, here I go killing again
Maximus! Maximus! Maximus! Are you not entertained!
11:58 Lol why are Okaun and Zndrsplt flipped?? 😂
I've been running torsten as an oops all creatures deck. It's straightforward, fun and surprising strong

My first game with Okaun and Zndrsplt was very fun for my friends because I failed ALL the coin flips. The second one was more fun for me 😂
Hedron crab only mills target player or am I getting something wrong?
hedron crab targets yeah, but in the most recent Zendikar trip they also made Ruin Crab, which hits everyone!
That was Ruin Crab, though. Unlike Hedron Crab, which hits a target player, Ruin Crab hits all opponents.
Oh I see. I never knew there were 2 of them

Love seeing your landfall version of the deck in action. Too bad you popped off too hard and got deaded.
Yowch that was painful
Damn Faldorn is on this channel a LOT
Decks are sweet but where is the interaction? Heh
I'm watching every Faldorn video until she wins. Come on let this be the one
Skyshroud scout huh?
❤ 🦀 ❤
Play more removal people ❤
Torsten is literally atraxa 👍. I played it for awhile and it’s a pretty insane deck
Torsten is FUNCTIONALLY Atraxa, only Atraxa is literally Atraxa. That's literally the only meaning for the word literally.
Despite loving giant x/x quadruple copied creatures Lucea, I will still always enjoy landfall Lucea
This was.. disappointing

Maximus, why you stacking your lands? No one ever gets to know how much mana you have.

Bad threat assessment is becoming a theme on this channel. Call me a hater, but making an observation.
We’re working on it.
That faldorn deck was built so poorly mannnn. Theres so many better things to add in there.
