I listen to a Jewish person sing and when he gets to the word Elohim, he pronounces it like El-o-hime (rhyming with the word time). This is the only time I've seen this, but the guy is Jewish. Every other time I hear it pronounced El-o-heem. Does anyone know what this means or has any understanding, I would love to know what is going on, thank you!.
Revelation 4:10-11 is part of the vision Jesus gave John. In this scene of heaven, we see that “the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: ‘You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.’”
But this question I have that is in the same vision of John and relates to God's attributes, of creatures, on as a lion, one as an ox, one as the face of a man, and one of an eagle. My teacher says it is about wild animals, domestic animals, man, and flying birds of the air. Which relates to creation. But the fish in the sea were left out? I always imagined the creatures were the attributes of Jesus... Lion strength and King, servant and one sacrificed as an ox, a man, and a spiritual like God symbol the Eagle. So Yeshua is like God. I wonder if I'm wrong? I wonder if one or both could be true? I don't know. Can you help me Rabbi Sobel?
