Reba's pure, passionate voice tugs at the heartstrings. Natalie's rich, resonant singing nibbles at the ears. The two combined means you die of blood loss while not really giving a damn about dying. For this, I sentence these two to a lifetime of singing duets.
A woman who truly knew her art. She was so talented across many genres. She was music. She lived it and breathed. R.I.P. to a great talent Miss Natalie Cole and for her to welcome Reba into the mix was just divine
I had a crush on Natalie when she did the Unforgettable video with her late father and I have been in love with Reba for more than 25 years. I remember when these 2 beautiful ladies sang this song and I could never stop playing it. I just now found out about the loss of Natalie. We will all miss your beautiful voice. RIP
What a delight to stumble across this....two giant talents of different genres you'd never think to put together, and they absolutely ROCK this great standard song....
Amazing...simply amazing! I love everything about this! I'd LOVE to see the live version they did for the concert special. Its out there, but nowhere to be found unfortunately.
Oh cmon man does it get any better than two incredible woman incredible singers doin it better than I have ever heard! Bring a grown man to his knees…. RIP Natalie
Natalie and Reba, what a whopper combination, but let's hear it for the band and the arranger! It explains that tremor in the Force we feel when we hear this 'monster song' per Reba!
Please someon out there share the entire music video without the editing - I know it exists as I've seen it twice. It is one of the greatest duets ever reorded imo.
In conversation with Dennis Miller (UA-cam), actor Burt Reynolds (who was white and born in the South) said he appreciated much this pairing of great singers because jazz and country singers are so rarely paired up together.....
This song is from the C.D. that came out in 1994 called "Country,Rythm and Blues". My husband & I got it the day that it came out and we played everyday and danced to it in our livingroom. This song was one of our very favorites. Sadly I lost my husband to prostate cancer in 2009 but for the Grace of God I can still listen to this song and feel my husbands arms around me while we dance.
Wait until you hear Lenny Welch's version " For the very first time in your Life " you just haven't heard anything just yet. You'll say " What was I thinking??? "
I'm a 29 year old black man and when I 1st heard reba was her theme song on her show and I instantly fell in love wit her 🤣🤣🤷🏿♂️ her voice is so perfect
This comes from a video of duets by country and blues/Nashville and Memphis performers. From a review of Rhythm Country & Blues Why this hasn't been released on DVD is a complete mystery. Al Green with Lyle Lovett - Wow. . Little Richard with Tanya Tucker. Check out the drummer. Sam and Conway on Midnight train to Georgia. Natalie Cole and Reba McIntyre staggering. The Pointer Sisters and Clint Black etcc. This is one of the big mysteries of life why this is a such a little known project. ...
I bought this as a cassette tape, lol, u know how long ago that was, always enjoyed this song with two great female vocalists. Natalie Cole has always been my favorite I guess because we share the same name, however always enjoyed Reba, another great duet is Travis Tritt with Patti Labelle, Moore and Twitty

See color does not matter
Can't believe I just discovered this version tonight-my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am playing it over and over and over.

This is what Black and White people should be doing combining their talents instead of wasting it on racism
Yessssssss
Lenny Welch didn't needlessly repeat words in this song.
Wow, who knew?!!
@RyanCooleyFanx mee too...
My fav on this CD Travis & Patti laBelle "
when something is wrong w my baby"
Does Reba have a bigger shield in front of the microphone because her mouth is bigger than Natalie's?
can anyone tell me where I can find this song??? did they release it??
where did you get this video clip from?
Reba's the only woman I would have left my wife for. Just to let her sing to me.
Roy Orbison and Elvis pressry
They were never together in the same studio....
Burt Reynolds sent me here.
2 nice women, but no. no. no.
I'll stick with the great Lenny Welch. With all due respects, this cover is a mess.
