    Oh mate, what a song to be bombarded with when you’ve barely even scratched the surface of the Ren rabbit hole 😅 The man is a wordplay wizard and lyrical genius. Hope your brain recovers from the very warm welcome to the slaughter house 🔥😂

    Never thought of LOKI!❤
    Ren was killing all the old versions of him including Sick Boi in order to evolve. This us the 1st track of the Slaughterhouse album, bunny logo is called Johnson.you did great!

      @@JohnnyReactions the Lowkey/Loki reference is a throw back to his mates who are no longer with us. One of them, Joe - Ren's best mate, was a known trickster, so it is a good double. You have an immense task to catch up to the Ren layers upon layers upon layers. He's a master of the quad-entendre.

    Bruv, when Ren is rap, rapping he's incredibly poetic & well read when it comes to his word play. If you're not great at understanding the meanings & messaging of a poet then Ren can be challenging.
    Very few modern/mainstream rappers use poetic imagery or have deep messaging as Ren does. You've got Jay Cole who's talented that way, but I would say Rens Lyricism is closer to Kendrick Lamar's talent in poetry.
    If you ever want to dig deeper or check your assumptions of a song, then I recommend Knox Hill's channel. Ren & Knox have become very good friends over the past couple of years & Knox has a great reputation as one of the best break down rap channels. The more you practice the better you'll get mate. 👍🏾
    Cheers, 🍻

      NW England is way further south than North West Scotland, UK including countries other than England. 😮
      Ren is the most talented artist in music and media that I've seen in decades (I'm 71) .He comes from a part of the UK called Wales. If you're proud of the UK be inclusive, like Ren is in Bittersweet Symphony.

    He said the opposite to what several reactors gave picked ip. He said 'I made a mountain a molehill'
    In Heretic he says 'I make molehills out of mountains' . He tries to minimise while dealing with the pain.

    I've watched so many reactions to this, I'm concentrating on the music now that I've read the lyrics a few times. I'd love to hear the instrumental , like he shared the instrumental to Troubles previously.

    Seeing you struggle to keep up with this track was both entertaining and cathartic. You did well for a first listen ❤

    Great reaction. Some items to help your poor over stimulated brain. Kendrick inspired opening. This was filmed in January 2024. Elysium is the best part of Heaven, Tartaros (also an acceptable spelling) is the worst part of Hell, Gaia is mother earth - the dichotomy of the journey between them. The struggle between yourself and yourself. I almost cried when he said he liked the cling film table because it felt like a 45 minute hug....The beat/flow changes are his ADHD so he doesn't get bored. 🤣The Head on a Platter was filmed after he got gouged in the eye with the rusty forceps. He refused to find out who did it because he didn't want to low-key hate them for almost making him blind. There is water flowing from the Right eye (as you look at it) and it's very swollen. . 7 Sins for 7 Rens. Suck a cl!t was originally "click" but cc: said suck a d!ck so he changed it to make it "more appropriate". Only Ren can kill the Sick Boi.
    The Bunny is named Johnson. There is a Jamaican Boxer named Bunny Johnson, the first British heavy weight boxing champ and then there's Watership Down and all of the bloodstained bunnies. Recently Juliet Johnson, the granddaughter of Adams, who wrote Watership Down (originally the idea was from the story he told his granddaughters at bedtime) just had the rights to the book returned to her family through court. So Johnson is a bunny that fights for rights!

    What's the point of playing something, to react to, if you're going to talk all over the top of it, rather than listening?

    • @thisiswhatmakesmesmile
      @thisiswhatmakesmesmile 2 місяці тому +2

      @Codex7777 hello 👋 Johnnyreacts does thoughtful breakdowns and reflections on lyrical intentions and meanings on his channel, and that's why we love his reactions. It's a bit different from many other channels that maybe just nod along or perform overexaggerated facial expressions and call it a day. You might not think it's your cup of tea, but maybe take another sip with a different mindset or expectation and you might find it grows on you 😃

    • @Codex7777
      @Codex7777 2 місяці тому

      @thisiswhatmakesmesmile As I said, it's the constant talking over the top of the track that's an issue, not the talking itself.
