I was expecting a few entries, but not many. Well there were a ton and they were simply superb. This one was so hard to judge I recruited two very thoughtful and well-informed guest judges to help. Their names, by some impossibly unlikely coincidence, are Joseph Walls and Lauren Walls! Unbelievable that three people sharing the same last name would end up judging the same competition! Anyway, these two young people have superb taste in art, they understand composition, light and color, and storytelling as well as anyone I know. My only regret was not planning to record the video of our collaboration. I will invite them back and next time we will record the session so you can see for yourself how thorough aqndcomplete they are as photo judges.
The images were just fantastic and picking winners was as difficult as it always is, or more so. But all three judges concurred on the positions of every image in the ranking, which is both unusual and reassuring.
I had to invent a new category this month… the “Nearly Honorable Mention” - watch the video - I explain it there! But I may be a tiny bit biased
I have not yet learned how to caption images in OBS - hence the lack of on screen titles

Truly fantastic images this month. Congratulations to all entries and well done for the winners!
Your son isn't the only one who knows the rule about the orientation of the slots in the heads of the bolts in electrical plates. If you visited our house you'd see that all the slots are oriented correctly. Those were beautiful photographs in the contest; all the images you showed were worthy of first place -- a massive tie.
This was truly inspiring. Congratulations to all the photographers. I'd be pleased to have conceived any of these pieces of art. And thank you Allan for compiling a really, really, enjoyable viewing.

Thought my rope a dope name was clever. That's the reason I place the rope above with sky below, as if your knocked down, looking up, ha. It's actually a rock climbing rope too which matches the idea of looking up at it. Great pics by everyone and congrats to winner!
