So I've had this idea rattling around in my head for a while for a series for you. You'd pretty much be the only one who could pull it off. Premise: Week before the zombie apocalypse you spent your savings a hard working miner for 20 years to by your favorite watering hole Big Buns. You had a plan to make it big by buying up and refurbishing all of you fellow gentleman's club and rebrand them. Unfortunately, the outbreak occurred before you got your keys and could rebrand the first place. But now with nothing better to do than to follow a dream you decide to go about and forcefully take ownership of these locations. Starting with Big Buns you are only allowed to live in and fight a horde in gentlmen's clubs. Once you've cleared a horde you've got to find another club for a hostile take over. Fight the horde there and repeat. Oh, as a side note, after you've moved out of a location you need to go back and repair, paint and rebrand the club you just left. At the start of the series you can give yourself level 1 miner's gear and a level 1 iron pick (or if you don't like the premise of a minor then something else that fits the idea of having a profession). The name of the clubs, and the name of the series? Glock Tease.
Dumping everything after a horde and only getting to use what’s in loot bags is an interesting idea, if not for this series. That could make for an interesting challenge in a regular start from level 1 playthrough. Have to dump everything and move after every horde and can only use the horde night loot bags to start over.
A back to the future video Idea, start will all tier 6 gear with hoard every 7 days. After every hoard you have to craft or find the next tier below what you just had. So 5 then 4 so on. Just the gear changes you can keep all your resources and ammo casue your gonna need it. To see if you can make and survive a base with no guns or armor at the end of hoard 7
No, where he starts doenst matter. Im talking about gear, IE armor and tools are tier 6 and drop a tier after each hoard. So his tools and armor get weaker and weaker as the hoards get harder and harder.@rocksteady9826
Fun series! SUGGESTION: you started at horde every 7 days, and realized 5 was a "better balance." How about now you lower it to 4 days, then 3 days for Trader Bob, then 2 days for Hugh, and then 1 day for Joel! THAT might keep you challenged!
YIKES - I think you'd need to amend what you're keeping in a situation like that! Maybe "no weapon or armour repairs" and when something breaks you've gotta toss it, but otherwise you're good? One day is NOT going to suffice in the Wasteland, especially given how many zombies and assorted beasties are around.
I like the idea of just going with whatever weapons you find and not crafting anything, but with everything maxed out, it makes it a little too easy to go OP. That said, I am really enjoying this series so far. Someone else suggested making the number of days until the horde shorter with each trader and I kind of like that idea.
I totally agree with you Glock, leaving all your loot and starting fresh is gonna be more exciting almost like starting a new series within a series hahah plus you get to keep all the books you read, they are the most annoying part of a new series ❤❤
Happy medium, you pick one item, (other than vehicle and workbenches) to take. Next move, has to be a different item, cannot keep it. Another random idea, ( different vid) you can only use 1 melee weapon and ranged. After horde, you must pick a new melee and ranged till after next horde. 😁
My personal thought, when you go to the next biome, bring a single melee weapon until you find a new base area, just to ensure you do not get hit by a wandering horde or similar while looking
A good compromise might be you only get your hotbar to carry items to the next biome, no weapons. I don't think it's really necessary though, seems you're finding it easy enough, as is. Maybe a future series, start at day 7000 again, but at level 1. Your loot will still be good just from the day setting, but not so ridiculously high. Getting to use your hotbar between biomes wouldn't be such a gimme then.
ever wonder why the health in games is not the red cross (the Canadian Red Cross) here it is a white cross with a red backing. that because that red cross is NOT public domain, it is protected by the Geneva Convention and can only be used as in the medical field.
Just another day in the 19th year of the apocalypse! Absolutely, 5 days is enough for getting set up. This series, so far, is more entertaining than challenging, and I'm all for it. The only challenge I see happening is either Glock getting cocky or bored... or maybe underestimating a new explosive effect again. XD
A compromise could be using a "prestige" method, like CoD. Basically, you get to choose 1 tool, gun, or item you intend to leave behind as a permanent addition to your inventory. You could also outlaw any firearms if that makes it too easy in your mind.
to make this series even a modicum more difficult, you may want to limit the base difficulty of your next base, so this time you can only base on a 4 star base, then next time a 3 star, then so on, should be interesting trying to survive in a house against a endgame horde with only 5 days of prep.
I've always found myself wondering, when cop or vulture puke leaves a bleeding laceration, "What the Hell were you eating??" Then I swiftly realize I really don't want to know. Hmm. All right. Slight amendment perhaps. Maybe you can keep one weapon/ammo stack and sell it to the trader before heading to the next? Might give you a bit of food if you have trouble finding it, or first aid?
A little thought here. What if you only take workbenches, vehicle, (and whatever you can fit on your tool belt). That way you can still bring a couple of drinks, food, tools, maybe even a gun to the next place.
Current story concept: Glock needs to prepare POIs for survivors who are 5 days behind him. As he passes from POI to POI, he leaves behind his found supplies to give the survivors as big of a chance as possible.
I think you should take 5 items. Any 5 items from your previous days. Could be fun to have like a mini draft for the items. Just watching you decide would be fun.
If you need someway to make it more challenging could add the rule no repairing. everything you find has a finite use and you need continuous change armor and weapons
Hey brother love the vids!! What if you did a series where you could only use what you craft? Only loot you take is raw materials and magazines and quest rewards (because you EARN those) but all the other loot you leave behind.... the Ultimate Survivor...
15:29 I'll add "Do not use indoor" in the description later.
your gun pack is the shit, cant play without it now
Do not use indoors ... absolutely! And, if playing with friends, please ensure that nobody's standing behind you. EEK!
😂
Your gun pack is FK AWESOME
Hope to see more weapons!! Cheers

I just did as well. That one that started with an H with all the loot bags was crazy at the end.

Since you have Better Barter maxxed out, you can beep the minibike's horn to open trader gates.
WHAT! Seriously?!
I don't think that's a vanilla thing.

Love this series. It's nice to see you just blowing things up and having fun instead of struggling for once haha

Good Morning Glock9! happy holidays!
Now you’ll have to ask Santa to bring you a bag of ammo. And speaking of Santa, Glockmas is just around the corner. Time to work on a Christmas POI
you should always use a different melee weapon per biom

If you want to do it that way, do it that way. You are the driver and we are just along for the ride.
to make this series even a modicum more difficult, you may want to limit the base difficulty of your next base, so this time you can only base on a 4 star base, then next time a 3 star, then so on, should be interesting trying to survive in a house against a endgame horde with only 5 days of prep.

After watching you use them i also installed the gun pack. Its absolutely bananas how great the weapons look, sound, and feel.

Pretty awsome. It's satisfying to let the destruction happen as it will, knowing you are moving on to different things.
Great episode

Theres no problem big or small a shotgun cant solve
Hey glock, an interesting challenge could be starting at lvl1 without any skill points at day 500 or so, it could be challenging
Current story concept: Glock needs to prepare POIs for survivors who are 5 days behind him. As he passes from POI to POI, he leaves behind his found supplies to give the survivors as big of a chance as possible.
I can't believe you weren't dropping frames like crazy during that horde. Can't wait for the next one!
Fighting the horde without having to fix a base afterwards just makes you feel so free right. Just 10x destruction.
That guns mod is a must have 😂 awesome work bro
Watching that beast of a Benelli hit the ground hurt my soul. Here's hoping it's is just meant for you and comes back soon!
the action of you actually dropping all your stuff makes it seem way more crazy lol
puts down bike. why no go?
i know whats wrong with it. aint got no gas in it.
I say take the benches, vehicles, dukes and your club.
Amazing how much honey you're getting this series
Glock you should move with workstations and knuckle wraps only. That seems entertaining.
I’d kinda like to see this series go for a while! I really enjoy watching Glock in ultimate form!
If you are doing a travel series, I think you should only take what you can carry atm. That shotgun is bad ass though.
Keep everything you have but you have to sell it all before you switch locations. Now you only have them dukes to survive off of.
I think you should be able to carry money to the next area so why not sell everything instead of dropping them.
I think you should take 5 items. Any 5 items from your previous days. Could be fun to have like a mini draft for the items. Just watching you decide would be fun.
Or maybe you have to pick 5 things from the loot bags. Like a lottery
Honestly maybe just for sanity's sake bring vitamins and honey with you when you move from the next biome lol
2:44 Please make an exception (for dropping all items save workstations after a horde) for any Legendary gear you find.
currently rewatching some of the olderish series, Get Wrecked, father glock, mallrat, cabin by the lake, cabin in the woods, good times
You could build on this series by doing every hoarde night you sound a wheel and permenatly lose a ammo type/ throwable or consumable
Bing bong! Ya heard?
personally i think you should take like 1 weapon with you and armor alongside what you already planned
good morning Glock!
At Jen’s above the confessional there’s books up there 20:20
2x magnifier mod is great for M4 and MP5. YOU SHOULD CHECK THAT

I like the idea that you have to start from scratch after each horde.
