The funny thing is that in the '60s many pop hits by The Beatles and others of the British Invasion WERE covered by a wide variety of artists in different genres, but at the time the 'generation gap' and anti-establishment attitudes rejected covers rendered into traditional or jazz, country, or classical music as if it was sacreligious exploitation, mocked as 'muzak' and 'elevator' music. Until the The Beatles made playing & singing & performing one's own compositions (for better or worse) the new way of making music, a composer's original musical idea was development by others, lyricists, arrangers, orchestrators, performers, and the finished product was most often unforeseen (for better or worse) by its original author, but kids in the '60s had no appreciation for all that old methodology, they wanted authenticity.
Given The Beatles dislike of Jazz, John Lennon in particular being outspoken in his contempt of it, I don't know what they would make of this. I think it's pretty good.
This was a Paul McCartney song, so there's a (slim) chance we might know what he'd think if he ever hears it. McCartney always did have a degree more appreciation for earlier musical forms than Lennon though. Think of "When I'm 64" or "Honey Pie."
@@Struwwel2 To be honest, I don't think Paul would be very impressed by the artistic quality of this AI version. It's good ambient music for sure, and I can see myself playing it as a nice little background tune to my everyday activities, but I think it's also very generic and, unlike the original, a little, ehm, un-exciting. It has good vibes, but it's also predictable. Which is part of its charm and probably the reason why it was created in the first place: to turn a Beatles song into some random, 'typical' piece of jazz music.
I hope the record companies can A.I. generate every old song and make new classics. Then all notes become patented and rich publicists can steal and prevent real artists from discovering music. Just let Hal the computer gas us all to death and force the devolution of man. The days of the Arnold's Terminator are coming for you!
Do people know that a program can make these songs for you in 1 minute? I say this because I find it a little embarrassing to praise the author of the video too much. 🙈
Not that i didn't enjoy it. It was so close. But something about these AI genre swaps makes them all sound the same. That something is the single octave vocal range. A real singer would have gone higher and lower.
I feel like I've just taken a ride in a time machine
Couldn't agree more
This is fantastic. Beatles fan for 60 years.
Beatles forever
Now and Then 😜✌️
"Something New Something New"
The Rutles were better than the Beatles.
@@lucianobluesPlease
don't mind, in my view
BEATLES-on-the-roof-
concert is the most
iconic ever, marking
their very last tunes

That is stupid good! I love it! What a great take one a classic. Bravo! Very well done.
That AI seems to enjoy Ella Fitzgerald.
Please, do more! Much appreciated.
Simply amazing !
I would love to hear Peggy Lee singing "Cat Scratch Fever".
Or how about Sarah Vaughn singing "Wild Thing"?
Ha! That's a lot of fun.. Well done!
Some people are just having too much fun with AI!
Sir Paul needs to hear this!
It could have used a "thank you on behalf of the group and ourselves, I hope we passed the audition". 😁
This sounds amazing!!!
wonderful!!!
Bravissimo !
Sencilamente espectacular!!!!
Taking me back to Slaggers dinner club

Amazing
Love it.
Amazing but I feel a lot of these loose the original tune, if they did Penny Lane, it would sound the same…
素晴らしい!
I know it's jazz but she's taking too great a liberty with the melody. ;)
Fabulous
My ears hurt...
which AI are you using that is not blocking copyrighted lyrics?
My guess is SunoV4, but that's just a guess.
You ain't right in the head!😂
But that's okay your music sounds great!😂👍
Grace Kelly singing yeah
Do you have this playlist on Spotify?
Cute.

It’s still better than 90% of current “music.”
DUH! It's not a real singer?!
@johnreep5798 true, but that's about the same as saying a gas station sandwich tastes better than a dog's diarrhea.
@@johnreep5798A program makes these songs in a minute. If our quality standard is that, perhaps we are going downhill without brakes.
This is so wrong on so many levels. Not even the melody.
más chimba que la original
