Lauren, I am a RN that works in the operating room, and I do these surgeries (ablations, transfusions, amnioreduction, etc.) along with our MFM surgeon in Chicago, on a regular basis. I can tell you that these surgeries are relatively quick and easy. At our hospital, we have a big team of clinicians that look after you and the babies. We have anesthesiologists, NICU, L&D, ultrasound techs, OR nurses, etc., that are on standby. I am sure that your hospital process is very similar when it comes to these cases. I agree with you that you should take each appointment as it comes. But just know that there is a big team behind you that wants you and your babies to be safe, in case you need to do this. A lot of times after one procedure, you don’t need to do another, and the babies develop until they are ready to be born. Just some insights. Praying for you!
Thank you for giving your insight as someone who works with these types of pregnancies.ay God continue to guide you and those who work to help and save the precious babies they are working with.
Lauren, I believe you're making the proper decision for all. I had both procedures of fetalscopic laser surgery, the reduction of fluid and the coagulation of blood vessels on the placenta. As I mentioned on a post on your other video, though not an easy decision to make but we really felt led by the Lord to trust Him and go through with it. To the utter amazement of the director of High Risk Pregnancy Center and to all that suggested we get rid of the pregnancy, God did the miracle. The doctor that doubted the viability of my twin girls came into my recovery room after I gave birth and said "I may not know your God, but I'm a believer now" because I told him my God will save my girls. Be encouraged Lauren, those precious babies are meant to be on this side of heaven...there's a huge testimony in the making for all of you. My prayers and thoughts are with you all xoxoxo
What a beautiful story….I’m so happy your Baby girl twins arrived safe and well…. nice to share with Lauren….. I’m sure reading your words it will give her hope for her baby girls. ❤💞💕💗
Lord please continue to cover these babies with your healing hand. Please help the doctors with their decision making and I pray for Lauren and Marks hearts that you help to keep them calm with clear heads, so they can understand and process all the information being thrown at them right now. We know your will will be done in this situation. Thank you for loving us the way you do. Amen. ❤️❤️
I’m sure i’m not the only one who tear up when you do. I know you feel our prayers. Your gratitude is beyond words. Love to you, the girls, and family🦋
These girls are so very loved. Praying they will have the strength to endure the challenges they are facing. Lauren you’re an amazing woman and mother. Your strength amazes me. The girls are lucky to have you as their mom. You are an amazing advocate for them. I’m sure you will be guided to make the best choices for them. I’m so grateful you have such an amazing husband to support you and the boys. Prayers for all of you!❤
I think I cry every time I see you tear up, Lauren. You're doing wonderful as a Mom and making the absolute best decisions for the girls. I will keep you, Mark, and the 4 boys in my prayers. You have such a wonderful family, and I love following all of you.❤❤❤
Hello, my name is Daniela and I am from a very distant country, Chile (Latin America). I am also pregnant with a girl. I have been following you for quite some time and I just want to tell you that you are in my prayers. I wish you the best and thank you for informing us. You are not alone, there are many of us who take your hand to accompany you, greetings 💓
@danielaacevedo8230 what a beautiful name you have. I am in the US, in a state called Delaware. I'm a Mom of 2 daughters and 1 son. No more for me bc I'm 47 😂. But I wish you the best delivery with your baby girl. My 1st two girls are 1 year and 2 days apart. Sabrina and Barbara (named after my Mom who I never met bc she passed away when I was 2) then when they were 15& 16 I gave birth to their brother. My only son. He's almost 10 now and his name is Jackson. We call him Jack. God Bless you Daniela. What a sweet message you made for Lauren. I'm praying for both of you. ❤
As a woman who had 3 incredibly easy pregnancies and deliveries, I cannot even begin to imagine how much you have to deal with...high risk pregnancy, a family so far away, and the stress of being there alone. Praying that everything keeps going well for you and your family
I'm praying for you, the babies, Mark, and the boys as your family goes through this journey. He never puts more on us than we can handle.. Lauren, "You got this,"praising God in advance for a healthy, happy delivery. We don't have to wait until the battle is over. We can shout now! Lord, I thank you.
Oh mama, you are amazing. We do whatever we have to do for our babies. Sending you so much love and prayers. I went through an incredibly high risk pregnancy with my sweet girl, she made it to 36 weeks and I had a C-section. She is now 17 months old and doing so well. God is good even when we don't understand.
I have a family member who was fortunate enough to get to use the Ronald McDonald house. It was so fantastic! I donate whenever I get the opportunity (and I am very picky about “who” I donate to) .The Ronald McDonald house has earned my respect. Best wishes for your beautiful babies!! Love and Prayers💜🙏🏼🥰 miracles do happen!!🙏🏼
Hi Lauren. Its so hard for you right now, especially being alone in Colorado instead of back with family in Alaska, but your family is there with you all the time in heart, and we are all here with you in heart too. All my love and support for all of you, but especially for you and the girls. I'm so grateful to the people who are with you at RMcD house too. They too are looking out for you. ❤❤❤
Hi Lauren. My name is Bonnie, and I live in Lubbock, Texas. I feel for you so much because I know this has to be extremely difficult for you and Mark right now, as well as for your precious boys. It’s hard enough just being away from the boys but then having all the stress and worry about both them and the twins has got to be hard. I don’t think there is anyone that would not be extremely emotional, especially with all the uncertainty you’re dealing with right now. I’m praying that all is going to be fine with the twins, and that soon you’ll be back with the boys as well.
Praying for you all! My granddaughter was born at 27 weeks 3 days. She'll be two in November. Shes our miracle baby. She's very fortunate, she has nothing wrong. After having 3 sons, i was very happy for a little girl. Lots of prayers were said, for those 3 months, she stayed in NICU. Will continue praying, take care of yourself. ❤
Lauren, As a pediatric Nurse and Mom who had difficulty with my one and only pregnancy. I understand what you are going through. Continue to get lots of rest to make it possible for you to continue to carry your girls to their Birthday. And, we will all continue to keep up the prayers for you and the girls and your family. ❤
Dear Lauren my prayers and love reach out to you today. God will guide you along with these decisions for your girls. After having my first daughter I had to have a complete hysterectomy years ago. I was devastated as we wanted a bigger family but little did I know at that time God had other plans for me later we adopted a baby girl who was 7 days old. Today both my daughters are married and I am blessed with 6 grandchildren so God did give me a bigger family. Trust in God now, he knows what he's doing. Take this time to get plenty of rest once the girls come you will be a very busy woman.💕🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦🍁
Praying for your family. My son was sick when he was 12 and we were in Columbus, Ohio at the Children’s hospital and we stayed at Ronald McDonald which was across the street from hospital. We did not have cell phone and they gave us free long distance to use. Ended up he had diabetes. Now he is 48. Every time I eat at McDonalds we give a donation. Praying for the sweet babies.
The community that follow and support you and all the family will continue to pray for the safe outcome for you and these precious baby girls - the Lord is always by your side ❤❤
My nephew is an anesthesiologist at Children’s in Denver. Praying for your two girls and you. It must be so hard to be separated from the rest of your family.
Yes to getting outside in the sunshine and fresh air as much as possible and seeing other people to speak to when you are alone without your family. Sending you so much love to you and strength. 🥰🇦🇺
Lauren, this quiet time means to lean on the Lord. I know you are emotional. Too many changes in a short period of time. You are a home girl and this being away makes things emotional. You can chat with us if you need too. You have a great deal of support. This is a challenge but you are able to do this. I am sending my love and prayers. The Lord is watching. Close your eyes and feel that love. Talk to you soon.
While I didn't have the pregnancy problem you are having, my daughter came 2-1/2 months early (Nov 30 instead of Valentine's Day!). It was/is a rollercoaster whenever there's a problem but, keep your hopes high and know you have thousands of well wishers. BTW, my now-40 year old daughter is the love of my life and your girls will also be the lights of your lives, with 4 strong loving brothers!
We'll continue to pray for the girls, you and Mark and your family. We'll also keep the people at the Ronald McDonald House in our prayers. The couple that took you for your appointment are extra special. That was so very thoughtful.
My Thoughts & Prayers are with you. My Mom and I stayed at the Ronald McDonald House when I was little. We had to ride a Greyhound Bus to get there. I was born with Möbius Syndrome and born without hands. But I get along great. I love how you and your family are so close. God Bess you all. 🙏🏻❤️✝️
We pray right now in the name of Jesus that He covers you and your babies. We pray that they're healthy and healed in His name. I ask that He covers and comforts you during this time. In Jesus' Holy name, Amen.
🙏 My thoughts and prayers are with you. Having gone through a single scary pregnancy YEARS ago, I know the worry and stress EVEN if you are leaving it in the Heavenly Father's Hands. ❤
As a NICU RN, I surely can understand your stress, you are in great hands there in Denver Children's hospital, two of my prior colleagues work there and it's an excellent place. I am wishing all the best for you and your family!! Bless you and the girls.
Bless you for putting this video out. There's an image of "I want to get pregnant, I get pregnant, and then there's a baby"!. And that is not always reality. Of course for many that is the reality
Oh Lauren, please don’t cry, we all love you and your family. I was in Seattle children’s with our premature baby. Was there with a 15 month and 3 year old. Was lonely for sure.
Awww, you guys are such warm, loving and supportive parents/spouses❤ I cannot imagine what an emotional roller coaster this is. Continue listening to your heart and our sweet Lord will help you on your journey🙏💞
I loved when you said that you read Scriptures with the boys over FaceTime. You are an amazing mom and I am admiring you from Pittsburgh PA! I am including you in my daily prayers. All the best as you begin the second half of the pregnancy!
Oh sweet lady… I’m with you on your journey to bringing these baby girls home healthy and well. You are covered with prayer, chants of prayers going up to heaven to beseech God to keep you and your babies well until a term delivery. I know you are tired and weary, but have faith in the knowledge that our Father has your story written with an outcome even better than any you can dream of for yourselves! I am quietly sitting here, holding your hand, whispering hallelujah’s into being… and trusting that God has you well and truly covered in his blessings !
Continued prayers and good energy sent to you and your entire family. What a blessing it is to have such wonderful grandparents close to home to help with the boys and Marks Uncle and Aunt close by to support and provide help along the way.
You are one tough lady- you make the hardest decisions for the best of your family- your tears make My heart hurt for you. You are not alone- you have a huge extended family here, praying and sending you thoughts and good wishes. Wishing you peace and hoping you feel all the love we are sending.
Oh my gosh Lauren yay! I am so glad and so grateful! This has been weighing heavy on my heart since your video telling us you were probably heading for surgery. So grateful and we will continue keeping you and our favorite girls in our prayers! ❤
I know how you feel. I had complete placenta previa with one of my sons. I had to stay at the hospital in Tucson on bedrest for 5 weeks. He was born 51/2 weeks early. I know it’s hard but it is the best for the twins going forward, .You will get through this. Thinking and praying for you and your family.
Continued prayers for you and your babies!! I've cried the whole way thru this video!! I'm so happy things are ok for now. I believe it's the power of prayer!! Praise God!
I am a new subscriber and just went back and watched some of the previous videos. I want to tell you how much I appreciate your transparency with your pregnancy. I am sure your videos will help others in this situation and give them hope. We didn’t have the internet when my kiddos were born so I only had doctors and other moms to get info from. So thanks for sharing so others can learn from your experience. And I want to send you lots of positive thoughts and loads of prayers for you and your sweet babies, as well as your husband, parents and kiddos that are home. We will add your name to our daily prayers. Hugs from on old granny in TN ❤😊
Lauren, it’s okay to feel emotions and cry, holding it in is hard and stressful. Your subscribers love you and understand the emotions. I love your channel and the deep love you have for your family. Please know of my prayers for all of you. Our mighty God holds you in the palm of His hand. ❤
the Ronald Mcdonald’s houses are a blessing as they were there for me many years ago when i went into labor at 32 weeks as i was a very high risk.my son is now a 25 year old man. i believe that your are in Good hands and God is watching over you and your baby girls
Sitting here praying for you and the babies and crying. Lauren everything will work out. You and Mark are awesome people and parents. Please know the village has got your back. 🙏😘❤️
I am happy that Mark was able to go to Denver with you. And that grandma and grandpa could take care of the boys. I can only imagine your thoughts are racing. I'm glad you decided to stay to be sure and the girls will be taken care of. Keep taking care of yourself too Lauren !! God bless ❤
Oh Lauren crying is super okay especially with all the up and down things happening in your world. plus most women cry a bit easier when pregnant. YOU are handling all of this amazingly well. Big hugs! Wow 60,,000 plus views!
Praying for you, those sweet baby girls, your handsome sweet boys and for Mark! I’m also praying for each and every healthcare provider and employee you’re working with both in Denver and in Anchorage, may they continue to give you the best service, care and support they can possibly provide. You’ve got this mama!!!
I'm so glad you stayed in Denver... When you said you were going home on Monday my heart just dropped... I think I yelled at the screen, "No!"... As much as you desperately wanted to see those baby boys, your baby girls need to be in Denver. With everything so unknown, the last thing you needed was to get off the plane, have your ultrasound only to find out you needed to get right back on the plane. The best place for you was Denver, although I'm sorry Mark had to go home. We like to think we are all big and tough but in times like this it's nice to have a partner to hug. Sending all the good juju in the world! ❤❤❤
Praying for you. We had to stay in a Ronald McDonald house when my youngest daughter was 15, 15 years ago. She had to have heart surgery. I'm glad that there is some family that are semi close. My prayers are specific and that is that both get an even amount of everything that they need to grow and develop and are born healthy and beautiful. You are a beautiful mother. Safe travels. ❤
We have twin granddaughters. They had TTTS and it was really a scary and worrisome time. Although it was a possibility of a Denver trip for my son and daughter in law, it corrected itself and they didn't need to go. They were born early and spent about 40 days in the NICU. Thankfully, all turned out well and they are now thriving kindergarteners. You certainly are on my mind, and I will be praying for a good pregnancy and birth. Hugs from Minnesota
Just want to encourage you and remind you that you have an army of people praying for you, the girls and your entire family. Despite what the world will tell you, we know that God is real and that prayer changes things. We love ya’ll and are praying for you. You guys are incredible and doing so well with all this and Thank you for including us too. Lots of love and prayers!
Lauren, we have you, the babies, Mark, and the boys are in our prayers. May the Lord will be with you. I don't what you going but I can feel the concern. Will be keeping you in our prayers.
The boys are really missing you because if you’re home it’s their normal then everything is okay and they aren’t as worried. If you are there then everything is not okay and they are worried. My observation as a child care professional. This is a pretty normal reaction so don’t rush home to placate them as you know you are weighing the benefits and risks of surgery for these precious twin girls. 🤗🙏❤️ may god keep those babies safe 🙌
Your babies look amazing and so prefect. I know your 4 boys at home are missing you, but at this time you need to focus on you are your beautiful baby girls. Sending you lots of prayers and good thoughts for good news. Stay safe and rest as much as you are allowed.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh sweet Lauren I can’t imagine the emotional stress that you and Mark are going through right now and I am so sorry this is happening. Just know that everyone is wrapping you four in many many prayers and God is going to touch and heal those girls in a special way. We will keep praying and you take care of yourself. God Bless all. Love from Virginia
One moment at a time. Lots of prayers for your babies and for you. I am still believing God for the healthy delivery of both girls. God is amazing. 🙏🏾♥️
Love and prayers to you Lauren and Mark. Just to let you know I am watching every video and praying that whatever happens, you and those girls are well taken care of. ❤️ ❤❤
You are doing a great job taking care of yourself, those little baby girls, and your boys at home. I pray that you continue to feel the love and see the blessings during this difficult time. Much love to you all!

I know how you feel. I had complete placenta previa with one of my sons. I had to stay at the hospital in Tucson on bedrest for 5 weeks. He was born 51/2 weeks early. I know it’s hard but it is the best for the twins going forward,
.You will get through this. Thinking and praying for you and your family.

Trust your mom gut and your Dr's advice. It is good to be around Dr's who can help you and the girls. Blessing that you are able to stay at Denver RMH

I love that Mark is such a great partner ❤
Our prayers are with you both and the girls.
Good to stay with the specialist. Keep your Bible close by during this time! Pray without ceasing. I'm praying! God bless!
There are prayers for all of your beautiful family, from many countries…you are not alone ❤️🙏🏼🇨🇦
Prayers for you and the babies. God is watching over and guiding you and the family through this difficult journey.
Praying for two healthy babies and mama!
Sending all my love and prayers to you and the babies. It was fun watching Mark at Trader Joe's. XOXO from Michigan
Lauren and Mark, I’m praying so hard. May God shield your babies and keep them safe.
Continued prayers for you all Lauren! It sure sounds like the way this goes it’s best to be close to these doctors.
Sending continued prayers for the twins and the family
