Sri Lanka is the safest country to travel for solo female travelers in 2024. So, if such an incident occurs in Sri Lanka, call the police or ask the public for help. Laws on women and children in Sri Lanka are strict. Sorry for the bad experience. Also, the PickMe app won't work if your order isn't picked up by a tuk tuk driver. Uber app is also available in Sri Lanka. However, they function properly in urban areas due to the high density of drivers. You can use metered taxis to avoid price scams. come again..! Love from 🇱🇰
Iceland tops the list for the 14th year, with Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, New Zealand, Singapore, Portugal, and Malaysia recognized for societal safety, public services, and quality healthcare. Equality laws and freedom of expression make these countries attractive for both residency and tourism.
#VisitSriLanka again, next time bring along with you friends or/and family (who have never experienced the country) to see and experience beautiful tropical paradise tear drop island of Sri Lanka.

Victim Blaming 101.

We are cringy people with a huge desperation for foreign acceptance. Most vlogs about Sri Lanka are filled with Sri Lankan praising their oen country or thanking foreigners rather than actual foreigners comments.
Your recommendations are informative and thank you for that. Glad you enjoyed Sri Lanka Nini, please come back soon and visit our country again. Safe travels!
I’m sorry that happened to you in Sri Lanka. It rarely happens and glad authorities took action. We have a separate unit in the police allocated for tourism only.
You are the first vloger or person who do travel in Nepal and said Nepal is not safe! I never heard that … everrrr . But it’s fine you have your personal decisions!
Never said it wasn’t safe. I said as a female I didn’t feel as safe walking around alone. I’ve lived in Nepal for 3 months collectively and out of all of the places I listed in, Nepal was one of the top places I felt (least) safe in. I’m pretty sure I gave it a 6 for safety. I felt much safer walking around alone in Bali, Vietnam, Singapore. BUT Nepal is so special to both Isaac and I, especially Isaac since he taught English at a Buddhist Monk Monastery in a little village for 6+ months, so we will try to go back to Nepal every 1-2 years! I love Nepal!!! But, I just don’t feel safe walking around alone honestly.
@@NiNiiTravels yeah I said it too. You don’t feel safe ! Am i right ? It’s totally fine agreeing you . Some incidents can trigger you to rate it that or feeling unsafe as a female or individual. At last at least you visited nepal and thank you for that don’t worry you’re going great . And please if you want to come nepal again just don’t visit only kathmandu again and also more than pokhara there are more vast nature in nepal and you can see true emotions of nepalese and how they treat you , how harmonious they truely are come lets find real nepal not the hustle and bustle onlyy♥️
She said true it’s not totally safe specially when you wear open dress like her. There are staring people. And in Ktm galli when you walk at 5 am morning or evening there will be man following you when you are walking alone. There are lots of tyape also. She has experienced Ktm for 2-3 months that’s why she is saying according to that.
To be honest, tuktuk scams are something even the locals have to deal with. It happens very often to me and my family members. Which is why we always either use our private vehicle or use Uber or PickMe cars to go wherever we want. Another possible option is hiring a van or bus from a reputed company, especially for long distance drives. There are specific companies that especially carter to foreigners. It’s a bit pricey, yes, but safety is way higher than tuktuks 😊

Visit Sri Lanka 🎉❤
❤️
We even get scammed by tuktuk drivers. Finalize the taxi fare before getting into it, normally count 1km=Rs100 (if road condition is good)
About that incident you mentioned, really sorry for that and you made the right thing recording it and publishing.
It’s sad even locals have to deal with the TukTuk scams! In Mirissa & Ella they were charging 1km = 500 to 600 Rs or MORE!!!! It was insane!!!
@@NiNiiTravels@NiNiiTravels As the commenter said, it's Rs.100 a km. Always check the number of kilometers to your destination on Google Maps and offer X 100 . It may be Rs.125 in Ella and other popular spots.

Yes you are most welcome to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 ❤
I'm from sri lanka. I feel deeply ashamed about the incident which has happened to you in my country. Hope this kind of things never happen again. 😢
@@thepreceptor4620 thank you! I was very upset about it!
@@NiNiiTravels It's the Sri Lankan rape culture. Sri Lanka is a country where marital rape is still legal while homosexuality is criminalized. When local women get verbally and physically assaulted usually they have to keep it to themselves because when they talk about it society will say it's your own fault for not covering up. Victim Blaming 101.
That's why Sri Lanka is not for beginners.

❤ from sri Lanka we’re sorry about what happened😢😢😢. But there are always good people to help. We have the best hospitality for outsiders. During covid pandemic there was travelers stuck in Sri Lanka due to travel restrictions. Sri Lankans take care of them for months without charging a penny.
@@os9234 may be you’re true . Not all humans are good!
I’ll have to try that next time!! Even pick me didn’t work in Ella or Mirissa tho!!
@@NiNiiTravels you are correct till not use any transportation app in ella .
