you are one of the more brilliant tutorial video creators. Your pace is perfect. You cut right to the chase. You use stock ableton plugins. It sounds amazing. It's edited very well. Entertaining. What else.... Keep making more.
Bless you! Always makes my day when people actually get something out of all of this stuff!!!!

This moment is so unreal and ethereal. I love it
This channel is a literal goldmine
Another fantastic tutorial, no flannel, brilliantly done - keep em coming
Soo great tutorials on artists I listen a lot. So glad that I discovered your channel!
Simply brilliant.
Amazing videos! I’ve watched every tutorial you’ve uploaded so far. Came here looking for a specific style tutorial and discovered many new artists and sounds along the way. I especially like when you do short remakes of 2-3 actual tracks, but then you make one of your own using the showcased style as an inspiration.
Also, they sound amazing!
❤Love your videos! So well explained
Brilliant tutorial
I love your youtube channel. Could you please teach me how to make Afro/Tribal Electronic? Like Marijus Aleksa, K-Lone, Yu Su.
Babe wake the fuck up new hollow ground productions vid
Sounds like a keeper, that one 😉
Great tutorial and great channel. Would love some Forest Swords tutes at some point in the future!
So dip ¡!¡! I never thought i would find music and comedy “mixed” so well. You have really “mastered” this “arrangement” 😂
Brilliant runthrough. Anything from Shlohmo (the Heaven Inc/The End era especially) would be lovely to hear your take on; I believe he uses stock ableton almost exclusively as well, with a couple outboard tools (moog grandmother, fender jazzmaster). Keep up the great work!
insane run through cheers
After watching several of your videos, I decided to switch from FL to Ableton. I'm already loving it so far
Learning so much. Love love love your channel.
So glad!
This is gold ! Thanks so much. I would looove an Apparat tutorial, his talent to blend organic and electronic sounds is amazing.
I will eventually get around to Apparat, mate. Gonna be a while though.
@@hollowgroundproductions Great ! I'll be patient then 😏
What a cool channel how was I not subbed.
Wow
Fantastic tutorial of amazing tracks of a very good producer, i didnt even know him yet. thanks so much.
By the way where can I find this speech bit in the end about emphasis on immediacy? :p
❤
Aaaah here's my favorite teacher once again, glad to have you back Gavin.
Here's some recommendations on what to do next (pretty sure you're full of them but anyway):
How to make music like Tycho, Christian Loffler, Weval, 2814, Skeler, Sewerslut, Roosevelt, Vacant, Monolithic, Computer Data, Miami Nights 1984, Duett, 36, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin ambient, Gesaffelstein (for the masses).
Also, do you plan to sell the project templates in the future as well?
Website launching soon!

Hero
I’m literally crying…
Absolutely fantastic! Do you make your own music? Would be curious to hear what you make on your own when your so masterful at re-creation. Never mind found it in the bio!
He does by the name Wukah
@@11vvERN Yeah I checked it out! Brilliant music he should plug himself more haha
Love your tutorials. Your super talented. Would love if you could maybe help me find out, how a sound was made? I've been wondering for years how the synth stab from Landlord - I Like It (blow out dub) was put together. I'd say a man of your knowledge and "God" like wisdom would be able to guide us mere mortals in the right direction regarding this. Thanks as always for your time and help.
I know that track well, mate!! Email me on hollowgroundproductions1987@gmail.com, and book 1 hour with me 1 on 1, I'm preety sure in a 1 hour lesson, I can show you how to make all the sounds in this classic track! Boom
bro your videos are my new re entry to editing but i have to remind you to use velocity
can you do some recreations from talaboman - the night land? its my most favourite album of all time
Great tutorial as always mate. Where do we get the Tape Saw sample from?
Sounds like a bog standard saw wave through one of the many Boards-of-Canada-iser plugins.
(Note is Cm)
@@governmentyard any plugin (or sample pack) you can direct me towards?
Good question!! As far as I can recall, I think it came from a sample pack called "Vinyl Samples From Mars", from Splice.
7:15 amazing piano
I actually missed a trick with the increasing distortion of that track. Instead of turning th drive up in the saturator, better tip would be to turn up the input and then dial back the output on the echo, cus you get nice and controlled tape distortion, which sounds alot less digital than stock saturator!
whoa.. need to try that out :)))
Can you do one for Effy?
please please can we have ross from friends. even just something on his drumming in 'tread' its amazing
Trust me...I've been toying with RFF's Tread on and off for a year now. My results aint road worthy yet. I got high standards to meet, boss!!!
These are great!. You're choosing really interesting artists to showcase and the results are spot on. However if you were able to show more and talk a bit more about what your doing as I feel like your brushing past things really quickly and some things your mentioning you've done but haven't showed at all. Overall great channel though
