Nice! I really like this video. I have both the sheets and Cairn, but have played neither.
03:47 Oh, please do so! Oriental fantasy is a rather interesting rarity. Well, of course, the original version of Ikezu-ishi is much more detailed and thematic, but this little conversion is pretty decent for what it is, too. Also, I’m glad to see how popular this tiny gem appears to be within the related circles. Yours is the 6th or 7th (but definitely one of the best!) session I’ve seen this far, but I know I want some more of it. Thanks!
Yeah it does look intriguining. At one point it was at the top of the list for playthroughs but other stuff came along :) We'll see....
@@lone_adventurerApparently, the game was updated recently, and now it has its own standalone system, along with some minor changes and fixes. Just saying... 😉

Really enjoyed this. The resource seems like an excellent one, and could probably be altered minimally to support any rules light game.

Excellent presentation! Where did you find the sheets with the Cairn stat spots? The link you provided seems to be taking me to the sheets that have blank stat spots.
I've had a chat with the designer, Perplexing Ruins. He has chosen to remove the Cairn-based sheet from the product page - for now. His reasoning for this is that the stats block wasn't entirely correct, and that the monster stats were not for Cairn either (something I'll have to think about when I first encounter a monster!). This was confusing, and he is of the opinion (and I agree) that, whether you are using Cairn or some other system, the blank system-agnostic sheet is the best option for now.
Perplexing Ruins intends on creating a new version of One Sheet Adventure when the new version of Cairn is released.

Mork Borg - totally! I've been waiting on a particular supplement called Heretics Guide To The Dying Lands. This is close to being delivered, so I reckon I'll be doing some Mork Borg before too long!

I think the STR was 16 actually ;) but regardless, this looks like fun - I'm an Into the Odd kinda boy as it is.
Sadly for some reason it won’t let me download the player character sheet from the website. It only has the dungeon/overworld adventure sheets 😬😬
The player character sheet is no longer available because the stats block and monster stats didn't entirely align with Cairn.
The designer will add it back in when the second edition of Cairn is released. In the meantime, the overland sheet you have is exactly the same, except it doesn't have the character stats section (and you can use the sheet with any system, as a result)!
@@lone_adventurer Ah thank you for the heads up! I’ll be sure to look out for 2e cairn then and go from there or give the initial overworld sheet a go with 1st edition. Thanks for the help!
