Great vid and thanks for the explanations! So when do you do the 30 min star trail shot? Before you start tubing? Very cool to see collab with Zach! Did he bring fire?
Check out the gear list: ericpare.com/gear ... the orange one (my favorite) is listed there. You'll find a few others by searching for similar items. You can also buy cheaper gels at your local arts and craft store. :)
ьHello, Eric! I have a question for you. I have been trying to find these tubes for several months (I would gladly have bought it on Amazon at your link, but you do not ship to Russia). Tell me, can we agree with you and you would send me these tubes. (Of course this is not as a gift, I'll pay for everything) thank you very much!
We tried recently for a client, and the tubes got back to us! It's not easy to ship things in Russia :/ I'm sorry, I can't help you with this. Have you tried to roll your own tube? It's a good alternative...
Yes, I tried out acetate paper. The light was very dim. I even poured a tube of acrylic, but it turns out to be very heavy and just as badly dissipates the light. I will think further. thanks for the answer!
So grateful to you for you sharing your process: makes my imagination light up watching you work
