I'm so glad to see it's still the same ambiance of skating from one spot to the next, taking the subway when we were tired, eating garbage snacks instead of lunch, playing cat and mouse with security guards and just staying out all day long way into the night !
I liked just seeing them cruise around NY, gives you an insight of just cruising around there, but just cruising out there with all that trafic looks already too sketchy for me haha

I love how they incorporate early 90s street to 2018 with their own 100% natural style street skating. I started in 1991 when I was 10 years old so I know what it looks like and the Baker/ Deathwish/ Shake Junt family is the best in my book.

Can drivers in New York City ever go more than 20 mph? It seems perfect for skating, how some cars just go around shredmaster slowly; but like is NYC so congested you are always just slowly rolling up to the next light?- asking from la where old people try to run me over if I push in the bike lane

So the cars can’t go too fast, and if there’s no traffic, there’s stop lights everywhere. So you could sometimes skate to a spot faster than the car can get there next to you. As opposed to California where it is a bit more spread out. Only thing that I didn’t like about the skate scene in New York was when it got hella cold and snowing. Other than that, it’s my top place to skate. 2nd being California and 3rd Chicago.
