- Hey hey guys!
This took me far longer to actually sit down and edit, mainly because I am not confident making something look as interesting as I would like.
However! I recently bought Sapphire for Vegas Pro, and that has drastically streamlined my editing and made it so much easier on my brain. I am still learning it but I am super happy with how much easier it's made it for me. Hopefully this leads to even more quick edits of videos in the future, and I can really hone in on my own content!

Are there no ways to replenish your ki outside of resting or increasing your maximum ki?
@@Ghalaghor_McAllistor No, and that's enough of an excuse for me to not play as a monk or sorcerer.
@@TheBepis1309 Sorcerer is fine. Sorcery points are just secondary to the spellslots, so even if you run out of those you still have your spells (unless you run out of those too, but you would do it at the same rate as any spellcaster). For monk tho, Ki is used for basically any cool stuff the class gets, and once you're out of it, all you have left is some lame bonus action punch.

As a Monk Fan myself, the fact that "Be A Man" from Mulan fitted SO WELL for a monk song is absolutely fantastic~. Loved the lyrics in here. Elements is my choice, though I use the Homebrew version.
Also love the Shots Fired like with JoCrap's specialty~
What's the homebrew you use? Been wanting to do something similar.
Easiest way? Follow Tasha's subclasses with how they cast up to Prof for free then Ki for extra uses per Long Rest.
@@Lrbearclaw Interesting idea, though getting free Fireballs and Shatters up the my proficiency bonus can be a bit OP. Especially since the Ki Points can be regained during a Short Rest
@@Lrbearclaw and mabey include some xanathars and tashas spells into the list.
One of my friends ran a high level game where all the players were teachers in a school that taught adventurers. I was the monk teacher and played that song while training the npc students.
Sick, Mulan was always one of my favorites growing up, it's awesome hearing your take on a parody.

@@animefan3794 if a fireball was not enough, it just mean one was not enough... just throw more.
@@cirrusfraliose1482 imma be real with you chief, monks are much more likely to make the saving throws than to fail, and that means zero damage. Half damage those few times they do fail. Fireball ain’t gonna do shit. You want to hit them with Int saves or Strength saves.

I got a monk with 2 levels in fighter for action surge. During a boss fight the DM allowed me to do my regular attacks and flurry of blows, then action surge, do my regular attacks, and flurry of blows again. 6 Attacks in one turn. Listening to this song brought that moment to mind.

Monk has always been my favorite class since 3rd edition. So much flavor to be added and creative weapons to use.

During a two year Campaign, I once played a Barbarian that was a quite brutish individual. That is except for the fact that he did poetry and like learning to cook. He had grown a crush with the party's Monk. She was Half-Elf Drunken Master. For many session my Barbarian cooked and read poetry for her. Eventually he proclaims his feels to her, she laughs and say that she can only be with a man who can best her. I stupidly challenged her to a fist first. Without my weapon, she slow beat the cr@p out of my Barbarian. If it wasn't for the Barbarians' unarmoured bonus, I reckon it be quicker. The Monk laughs again, saying she'll give me one last chance but that I better choose something else. I then chose Drinking and next thing our characters knew, we were chugging Ale after ale. We both rolled well, and the DM told us we been drinking for hours. The monk snickers at say "... *Hiccup* So you can hold licker..." My Barbarian, "Of Course.... Nothing stops my love for ya...." Eventually the Dice Checks began getting very high. I had a feeling, This next Dice Check was going to be above 20. We rolled, she got a 12 and I got a 24 after adding my Constitution. I had Won, she passed out saying "Gooish Ame" (Good Game). My character was badly drunk himself a so my character pat her on the head and began picking her up. He stumbles a few times. He would place her in a bed, my Barbarian then lays on a nearby chair at pass out with a smile.
What happens throughout the rest of the campaign, she kept her word and returned my character's feelings for her. She also began taking charge of the relationship. Listing off things like, where we will live after our journey is over, stuff about naming and raising kids, and rules of her faith. My character didn't care, she was happy to just be with her. My Barbarian would do a lot for her. Like throwing a man into a pig pen that flirted with her and Ripping a Mummy Lich's Arms off and throwing him into lava for trying to suck out her youth. Anyways, hope you found this entertaining.

@@nicelyvillain714 Why Yes, we had a daughter who was named Yui and twins a Girl named Tsuko and a boy name Yomi. I was a Human Werewolf and their mother was a Half-elf. Not too sure what one would call them. Maybe a Werewolf with elf blood.

Fun fact, stunned creatures cannot concentrate on spells because the stunned condition makes you incapacitated for one round. Monks truly are the hard counter to spellcasters without having to rely on the counterspell crutch.

always grab a monk weapon when you make a monk it's not really needed at late levels but at early levels it keeps your damage up
Monks are great!
They have all these great tricks you don’t often get with other melee classes.
Open Hand remains my favorite warrior monk…but the new Way of Mercy monk is surprisingly interesting.
I sort of wish they would tweak the Tranquility Monk a bit more at some point…maybe less a healer and more of a debuffer…but hey, it could happen.

@@ciaragildea998 I'm thinking of making a Way of Mercy monk as my next backup character, is it potent enough to be a healer for a party that is lacking one? seems low powered but being able to recharge your healer on a short rest seems a plus.
@@DuoSanguis it's pretty handy, I look at it as more of a top up healer, especially at the lower levels. But being able to swap out one of your flurry of blows for a free heal, even early into the subclass is nothing to be sniffed at. Plus a save free poisoning attack after lvl 6 is pretty sweet
Love it, wish the way of Mercy was mentioned as it is the most powerful monk, but speaking out against the sword and shield is blasphemy.
Way of mercy is love currently got a shifter way of mercy who want to open up a non human clinic

Monk is such a gloriously broken class and so fun to be creative with. I have a drunken master monk that has a backstory of no formal training, he's just gotten into drunken brawls so often that what he needed to do became second nature in a fight.

Always remember folks, take atleast 1 Level into Fighter to get the that sweet Unarmed Fightingstyle so you can punch lika a Level 11 Monk as early as Level 2.

Monks are without a doubt the funnest class to play. For those who doubt even after this perfect song I give you this: Way of the open hand monks have the only save or die mechanic in the game. Also amazing job!!!
