    I just made a pink Himalayan salt scrub with olive and exfoliated my whole body. Then I moisturized my skin afterwards and noticed how fast my skin absorbed the oil. I will now exfoliate my scalp with either sea salt or pink Himalayan salt. It just makes sense!

    I use a clarifying shampoo with sulfates once or twice a month depending. I personally don't mind sulfate shampoo once in a while.

    I used the 'big salt' shampoo from Lush and it totally wrecked my hair and scalp. It took months to get it back to what it was.

      I haven't used that product to judge it but maybe this treatment with finer grains of salt will be more effective and less harmful? You might've gotten an allergic reaction to one of the chemicals the product or it might just be a severe irritation, especially if your scalp is sensitive. If you'd still like to give this a try, maybe try it in a small area on your head to see how it reacts? Good luck anyways :)

      Kerry never use salt on the length of hair. That’s why the shampoos are not good for your hair. Make your own scalp only scrub and it must have a light natural oil in it. Or buy a scalp scrub that has good ratings. My hair will get extremely dry if I were to use salt in my hair as I don’t produce much in regards to natural hair oils. Like I could seriously go wks without washing and you wouldn’t know that I didn’t wash. I use organic coconut oil and med sea salt. Scrub scalp only with a scalp massager. Rinse with warm water then rinse scalp with acv. Then shampoo! Don’t forget this step. I use it’s 10 which is a safer shampoo with no sulfates and parabens. Then deep condition leaving on no less than 10 min. Then rinse with warm water and wrap hair in T-shirt for 20 min before drying. I do this twice a month with no negative affects on my hair.

    Great video :)
    Im suffering og sensitive scalp and hair loss . How many times can I use the sea salt detox ?
    I also have another question. The sea salt improves the absortion pf nutrients that we put next . So I can wash my hair with the sea salt shampo , let it dry , make an (for example) avocato and honey face mask leave ir a couple of minutes and than wash it again with regular shampo or the sea salt shampo and then apply AVC.
    Im sorry Im a little bit confused but Im really interest on try this .
    love gourgeous! you are an inspiration ❤❤ lots os kisses from Portugal

      @beautyklove  8 років тому +3

      Hi Katelyn, Nope, for me it didn't do that at all. It's just shampoo and salt so it easily dissolves in water. And you will be needing a small amount of it anyway.

    • @Linthediel
      @Linthediel 8 років тому

      Common salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride, a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts. Sea salt is salt produced from the evaporation of seawater, rather than by being extracted from sedimentary deposits. If it says sea salt then it's fine:) I'm from Cyprus and I guess sea salt is more common for us x

    And hair breaks like hell
