Me personally i don’t like electric buses especially in cold regions where I’m located. But I’ll admit they’re very quiet aside from rear differential gear humming and tire noise and faint electric motor noise. I kinda like the quiet factor. But combustion engines are nice sounding.
South Carolina is electrifying their fleet now after having been using diesel for a long time. This would be their first game changer since the replacements of the 1988 and 1990 Blue Bird Internationals, 1995-1996 Thomas ERs, 2001 Thomas ERs, 2001-2003 Thomas FS65s, and some of the mid to late 2000s models.
As an SCPS person I am not a fan of the blue bumper AT ALLL but everything else (cross-view mirrors, air condensers etc..) I could get used to. I mean it’s something very different from what we are used to… just gonna have to get used to it. 🙂
As an SCPS Person, I don’t like the style of the mirrors, Nether that red thing. We have the oldest buses in my area, that’s being P14. I hope it goes to my district to replace P14.
The NC specs some have already been taken off the roads in some parts of SC already and they are now spares. I mean they are getting up there now especially the older ones.
Nice but only 2 cameras a drive camera and a camera on the driver what about the ones for the kids my 10 new buses have 4 a drive cam and 3 watching kids
My brother in Orangeburg South Carolina is riding his first electric bus :D
That’s pretty cool
I'm from the burg too

And the 2007-08-09 c2s as well and the 2007-09 hdxs

Yeah it was a really nice bus!!
I’ve got videos coming, on a few blue birds for North Carolina.
Guess SC is hating a bit of diesel now, this is a cool looking bus
Yeah I like the look of this bus as well.
Probably in two years those North Carolina Carolina looking buses be off the road in 2027
You think so?
I'm sure some people say those buses are going to be off the road not sure if it true
