I agree, boxing match = good metaphor for life, I was surprised that Inoue got knocked down... I honestly didn't think that would happen in his boxing career but even some of the greats touch the canvas (Ali, Pacquiao, Marquez, Chavez, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Tyson, Fury, Beterbiev, Cotto, Lomachenko... to think of a few) it's a small blemish but the only thing that matters is how a fighter reacts to it and adapts.

I absolutely LOVE how Inoue always gets into firefights and has developed a skill at slipping while so close. It's way more exciting and pays off for him well. His power is remarkable and really makes his opponents question if they want to engage with him or not.
I am truly happy that Inoue got his first career knockdown. I'm pretty sure he's happy about it too. All the pressure of being absolute dominant and unbeatable is finally off of Inoue's shoulder. But how Inoue responded is why he deserves to be the best fighter in the world hands down. You got knocked down but you respond in the way Inoue did. Its game over. I thought Nery was going to fly out the ring. Thats why so many fans love watching Inoue is because not only does he not let the judges decide his outcome because he gets the knockout victory. He completely destroys his opponents like a monster he is. Boxing fans and I mean true boxing fans knows without a doubt that Inoue is at the top of the food chain. In the post fight, he gave Sam Goodman the nod that he's going to make that fight happen next without a second doubt. That's what boxing should be about it. Getting knocked down is a part of boxing. It doesn't take away anything from the fighter. It's actually a benefit because they it allows you to face another kind of adversity.

He wasn't fooling around, but he definitely didn't respect Nery's power, and got caught by a good shot
@@Neek_Santiago He wasn't respecting Nery. After he got knocked down Nery had no success with anything because of how Inoue adjusted. In Inoue's other fights you can see him testing out his opponents, but he didn't do this with Nery, his mistake, but he won't do it again.

Not only did Inoue landed a knockdown of his own in the very next round. He completely overwhelmed Nery with his power, IQ, precision. 3 total knockdowns from Inoue and the knockout....goddawmmmm. Crawford ducking Boots and Canelo ducking Benavidez. All these top fighters need to look at Inoue as the prime example that if you want to be the best, fight all the best. Don't duck.
Fighters you mentioned are too afraid to take a loss....that or they want outrageous paydays...inoue making fighters millionaires going to japan to fight him...he dont care about money.
