@@tanner.quintero I would get the 128gb power kit. It’s a really great under rated camera and shoots great stabilized video. Low light, you could do a little better with the action 4. You will get about 30 mins continuous shooting time with the the modular before you need to plug it back in to the batter booster. Over heating has never been an issue for me even in 4K.
@AirPhotography The only thing that makes me nervous about the Pocket 3 is what you alluded to. If you drop it, gimbal can get damaged. Went with the A4 due to ruggedness, and the quality is darn good. Only thing I wish the A4 had was more zoom. 2x isn't enough.
Love my pocket 3 and use it alllll the time but I just bought an action 2 for pov shots. I got a brand new 32gb version for under $200 CAD. I grabbed it just to add a little spice to my videos and the storage size is perfectly fine for my use. Also… I love seeing more of that B Roll of yours from that magical island out in the Atlantic! So great to know you come back here so often 😊
There all great cameras. And I try to use the right camera for the right situation. Nice comparison, this will folks you don't know which one to get. Thanks for sharing Shawn.
The pocket 3 doesn't have a removable battery which is a huge deal breaker for me, it's pretty much planned obsolescence where you will have to buy a new one when the battery dies. That's why I'm getting the Action 4.
Good job 👏, i agree with you i have all 3, i do wish DJI upgrades the action 2 to be in vertical mode with out me tilting it 90 degrees. It wold be the ultimate camera , dji was smart to upgrade it to 125 gb
is it true that dji (osmo action4) has trouble with app & android connection? im waiting for osmo5 but that connection trouble holds me, ( have all google stuff) if osmo has zo much trouble than thinking about instaX4
I’m not sure I don’t use android but it connects with my iPhone without issue every time. The only thing with iPhones you have to disable cellular in order to transfer footage over but that’s an apple limitation not a problem with the software
I am thinking about getting the pocket 3 for my travel videos due to its compactness. My old gopro, on a mini tripod and rode mic looks too big and attracts unnecessary attention. However, I have seen people having problems with the screen and some of them even got faulty products out of the box, so this is what is holding me back.
I’ve seen some of those videos as well myself I have not experienced that issue. It is remained very robust. I use mine frequently and sometimes sometimes I’m not to gentle with it, but I have had no issues.
@@AirPhotography thanks for the reply. I guess I will need to reconsider my decision at some point because I really like the form factor of the pocket 3.
I think we will all be a bit disappointed with the Action 5 pro coming as I believe the sensor will be the same as we have on the 4. Most of the upgrade is going to be to the chip and AI capabilities which for me won’t make upgrading from the 4 worthwhile. If however, the leaks are wrong and we do get a 1 inch sensor like the pocket 3 then I will be first in the line to get it.
Got rid of my original Pocket and went down the Action 3 and 4 route, just more robust and versatile especially paired with DJI mics, I have the original mic set up and a stand alone Mic2. Just bought the Insta 360 3S, impressed so far as it’s so small and adaptable.
Man, I wanted to watch this video, really, but I can’t because your sound volume is very low…. I watch videos at cafe with little headphones. And while other videos sound perfectly fine your is the opposite of loud…. Please check levels before export next time.
Have all 3 still find myself choosing the Action 2.
Same here!
@@matt_pang I really do like that camera. It has a nitch.
I need a POV Camera to record the every day work while shooting with my main camera, A2 over A4 you say?

I like my Action 4 so much, I bought another one. Has been my go-to, and the content I've been getting from it has been great.
That’s awesome thanks for sharing your experience with it

The dji pocket 3 is my favourite!
After your video on mini 2 I bought it and seriously it is one of my best investment. You make best review videos really great content.

Hi, love your videos. Very informative. ? 4 u, can u recommend a macro lense for the pocket 3?
I don’t have a lot of expertise about that as I’ve never used one for the pocket three
Osmo pocket 3 has been my go to vlog camera in 2024. :)
I really enjoyed using it. So convenient with the microphone and great video quality.
Thanks for your video. I really appreciate it. Do you have any recommendations for people who are doing Urbex? What camera will be the best?

Glad you liked it!
ohhh the church shot from the pocket 3 looks so cinematic 🤌🏻
It doesn’t really great job. It’s a fantastic camera. I’ve used it quite a bit.

I love the action 2. Portable and versatile. Just don’t use it for long recording.
Think should wait and see the Action 5, due to launch 28th August, hopefully will have a 1 inch sensor with AI.

Action 2 is great. Hope they update with newer chips at some point.
Indeed, I would love to see an updated version. I think there are still a big market for these small wearable cameras for some scenarios.
I was REALLY looking forward to the Action 5, but looks like they are gonna let us down on what a "PRO" model means.
