If you donthe math, he would have been 17 at the end of the war. It takes guts to go to war on another continent at the same age that most kids are graduating high school and getting driver's licences.

The elderly couple was very sweet. I know how they must feel wanting to have fun. But only being able to bid .50, .75, .88 or a dollar. I'm sure that was probably the most they ever won, thanks to your kind heart. Great story. This story meant a lot to me. My dad was in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
