    Glazunov had a good sense of flow and contrast in this early work, along with fine orchestration and choice of source material. It's a very enjoyable opus.

    Composer Anatol K. Liadov also used the greek song in 4:26, in a piece called Dance of the Amazon, Op. 65.

    Good fit. Russian music riffs off of the Middle East in general, as does Spain's tradition. The more colorful and resplendent type of classical, appeals more to me the German/Austrian workaholic school, but that's just me.
