People its a good thing to give advice but so many of you all were just down out right mean!!!!!!!! If you didnt like the way she did it go some where else or do it the way you want it I am suuuuurrrreee your way is so perfect no one dares tell you they could do better!!! !! It is her video her purse her way of making it that away and they do have fabric glue that holds through washings I know because I have had to use it. Quit being so high and mighty and thinking your way is the only way !!! maybe for you but not everyone. I loved her purse and her video in making it and I sincerely thank her for sharing.!! if you dont like it go somehere else!!!!

Cute bag...but...gluing the handles on? That must last about five minutes after someone starts to use the bag...
Jeannette York - You'd be surprised at how well it will hold. I have used it to apply appliques onto my crocheted items and they did very well, including going through multiple washings. : )
I agree with all the ladies' comments regarding gluing. Hot glue is not going to hold the bag nor the handles together. I was very surprised she finished the bag that way!!

Plus I don’t know about the temperatures where you are but one time forgotten and left in a hot car here and it’ll disintegrate. And that’s speaking from experience.

I thought this would be a really neat and easy project to make..UNTIL, she started using glue....AUGH! I for one would NEVER apply glue to a bag, pack it enough and everything will land on the floor/ground....I'm def going to make this, but I will DEFINITELY modify the instructions, if you are going to make something the way you started, complete it in the same manor! Glue it all..or sew it ALL, so that is what I am going to do....sew the entire bag
Agree, although she could have used a fabric glue not hot glue but I did think all that sewing only to use a hot glue gun when she could have just carried on sewing it together. The bag would make a really good luch bad if thermal lining was added.

I agree as well. I will try to make this but I will be sewing it all. Glue is lazy and unimaginative and definitely not going to hold up for very long.
Might try using small grommets where some glue was used as connectors and more decoration.

You lost me when you started using the glue gun. Maybe hot glue works better than it did years ago but I don’t want to do all that work for the glue to fail. Cute bag.
Easy to sew anything she glued. Or you can try washable glue (like Elmer's) first, and then sew it down so it'll never fail.
Same here, I was adoring how cute the bag is, but the moment she started gluing I am like why even put so much effort stitching the other things, just glue it - use it till it lasts (may be few mins) if you are in Phoenix🤣

Why not just sew the bag? Teach the sewing methods required to create something long-lasting, durable, washable and a bag you can be proud of. I am sure you could do it!
Free Hartz I didn’t understand that either. Why put all that effort in to do all the steps and then use hot glue. That thing is going to fall apart after a couple uses, if not the first. I don’t like wasting my time; I hate the thought of someone spending time on this and then being disappointed that it took way more than the “10 minute” title and that the project was just a throw away one. That’s the problem with just about everything these days, nothing is made to last and we waste so many resources making junk to last a season or two.
You can make your owe video and choice how you want to do it.

Nao vejo dificuldade em costurar, , tbm , e nO vejo nada de mais amiga colar tbm , e eu particularmente pego ideias ! Dá pra fazer muitas coisas apartir desse molde até de papel Panamá diminuir e fazer para festinhas infantis, da pRa sentar tipo bolsona...a ideia e boa recriar com elas e melhor ainda KKK bjus vamos lá !

Thank you for this video. Your bag is a cute idea and sorry for the negative comments from others . You took time and effort to film this and I myself appreciate this idea! I have used fabric glue for repairs and it goes through washings .

If you can sew so much of the bag you really need finish sewing and toss the glue gun.
yeah i didnt understand why they sewed the first half then glued the rest. like hot glued handles will hold up, No they would not! lol..

The glue is harmless, and will actually help to give the bag firmer sides and base 👍🏾
You better hand sew those parts, that will make the bag stronger

When someone does finally sew this bag up and doesn't use hot glue, I would appreciate it if you would post how you did it. I am thankful for this video inspiring us to all want to try the bag, but as I am new to sewing bags, I would be very grateful to someone who could shed some light on the "sew the entire bag instead of gluing it" proess. This is a GREAT start, but I would love to know how to create a sturdier bag. I'll be trying myself in the meantime. Thanks for the video and for all of the tips below! WIsh me luck!
