Hispanic Convocation Outstanding Graduate Mirtha Garcia Reyes

Mirtha Garcia Reyes is the Spring 2024 Ed Pastor Outstanding Graduate. She is completing her PhD in sociocultural anthropology. Her research explored the experiences and identities of 33 trans individuals who live in Valencia, Spain. Dr. Reyes' research is important because it truly highlights different experiences of the migrant trans community.
