- Amid Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza, Palestinian sisters Nour and Dima al-Sadiq have set up a table at their local market in Deir al-Balah, selling handmade bracelets and prayer beads.
Nour explained that they face significant challenges in sourcing materials for their bracelets due to the conflict. Despite the difficulties they encounter, she remains hopeful for the future. Nour stated that her “ambition is for the war to end and for our lives to return to normal, like before and better. We have a table here in the street, and I'd like us to have a shop and develop our project."
