I've been going on a Pokedex completion crusade over the past two days before tackling the final area and Lord of the game, and let me tell you, it actually has been funner to do than I thought it would be, and these guides have been a massive help for finding those last few tricky mons. It really feels very rewarding lol I am absolutely planning a second run where I play as the male character immediately after my first run is complete, that's just how much I've been enjoying this game. I also have to say, certain things and hints you can find in this game REALLLLLY have me hopeful for a Unovan-based Legends game, ngl
Hey Austin, please note that Cherrim is bugged right now. If it transforms in battle, its catchrate goes to 0. This means you can't catch it with sun, and since battles don't pause the weather cycle it can randomly transform at any time. I just had a Cherrim soak 20+ Ultra balls this morning before realizing.
Hey Austin John. I know this is a very... oddball request, but could you do a guide to all the potential ambush locations of the Miss Fortune sisters? I got randomly blindsided by one on my way to a Pikachu Mass Outbreak, and now I'm constantly paranoid of running into one when I have a team full of lower level pokemon I'm trying to complete entries for.
they only drop nuggets in the post-game, before then it's just stardust. so I MIGHT make a money video for them later. But I recommend when you're training up the low-level team, just keep one ace with you.

1:48 VERY IMPORTANT PROTIP: you MUST sleep until nightfall if you want a Cherrim. If it transforms during the battle, it becomes impossible to catch. That’s right: IMPOSSIBLE. I learned this the hard way. You MUST keep it in Overcast Forme if you want it to stay in the Arkoos damn ball.
I wish there was a way to show the opposite of alpha Pokémon, so like maybe the absolute smallest size possible for that particular Pokémon had green eyes or something. I’m trying to find the smallest Heracross possible
8:45 I will say, the whole Space Time Distortion thing. The next one that I got after completing the end game did take a very long time to come back. After the first one after endgame, they came back pretty normally.
I am having so much trouble telling the difference between a large Cleffa and a small Clefairy. They look the exact same. Every time I think I’m trying to feed a Cleffa, it’s a Clefairy and I wasted my food.
I was reading online that the blue colored trees are the ones that have the cherubi/cherrim spawns so I tried farming those until I had all the entries I needed
It felt like there was something off about this video, and I didn't realise until about the 3 minute mark, but it's the lack of background music that Austin usually has, it feels strange without it. 😅

i haven't heard about this. but just keep moving and running, you can only throw 1-2 blams before the tracking spark hits you. and just wait for the BIG explosion for the battle.
actually its better not to roll and just focus on keeping ahead of the homing balls and avoid the voltorb and dps and focus on throwing mons at him after his self destruct to get his self stun. think its like three cycle at most. the problem with eating the electro ball is that if a voltorb land on u, that will just be too much damage
@@AustinJohnPlays Well basically what happens is when my character is inside of the circle for a falling electrode when I try to get out of the circle on the very edge of the circle my character stops running or walks slowly and gets hit by the explosion making it annoying but thanks for the tips I will try them
Magnezone here is a continuity issue. if the entire Magnemite line is from the future, how can Magnezone be flying around in the wild with no time/space rift restrictions?
@@rafafc4127 The issue with that theory is, I've seen several Pokemon leave the rift but they always vanish when the next wave appears or when the rift vanishes.
technically magnets exist naturally in the wild in the real world so it makes sense for magnet pokemon to exist naturally too porygon line cant exist outside of the space-time distortions due to be a fakemon and you dont find it anywhere but in them.

I once had an Electabuzz outbreak on that slope here where the alpha Electivire also spawns, I had a Mamoswine (Mamoswine is my health-sponge tank right now; an alpha with ice-fang, bulldoze, ancient power, and iron head, at like 400+ health, I can sweep most things, his name is Mamosuke, I have no shame in admitting all my named Pokemon have Japanese-inspired names) on my team with bulldoze. I grinded like 20 levels across like 10-15 Pokemon in like 10 minutes and completed so many Pokedex entries for evolving even while doing 1v4 battles. It was great.

Is there a reason you go to the bag to throw pokeballs in combat? I don't think the game tells you, but you can throw them from the hot bar ('x' to switch to balls, and 'ZR' to throw. There is still a confirmation popup when throwing from hot bar in battle)
Just a time distortion possible tip. From my own experience having an outbreak makes time distortions take a bit longer to spawn so I usually clear the outbreak, rezone, and get a distortion much quicker. I have no facts, just personal experience of this working consistently so just a possible bit of helpful information that doesn’t hurt because clearing an outbreak is a chance at an increased odds shiny anyway
@@AustinJohnPlays that’s why I said they possibly come quicker. It’s just something I’ve personally noticed. I’ve had them both at the same time, just like how you had the toxicroak during your second distortion I’ve personally just noticed that they come quicker without a distortion. I know this because I had to do five distortions in a row to get a cranidos to finally spawn, I got a rampardos but not a cranidos sadly. I did say in my comment that I have no facts just personal experience so I wasn’t trying to label this information as correct, just maybe helpful. Either way, love your content and been here since sword and shield using your guides to finish my third pokedex in a row so I appreciate all your hard work!

I got an alfa Bastiodon and I did not notice because: 1. I caught it without battle it. 2. I thought that was his actual size! But then i got a normal one and it is way smaller. XD Love your vids ❤️❤️❤️
i got an alpha rotom with a modest nature the other day. it was an epic gamer moment for sure. also idk if anyone has been saying it but you dont need to actually fill out ever dex entry page to "complete" you pokedex and catch arceus, just catch every pokemon. dex entries only level up your galaxy team level, which is kind of pointless after level 9.

I was about to take on the Electivire guardian until i randomly stumbled upon a Rotom. I was so confused and panicked knowing how its considered a “Legendary” in my mind. I instantly threw my Scyther and caught it after two great balls.
Heracross is my favorite Pokémon so I decided to perfect the dex for it and as I was looking in the area for some there was a shiny one that was spawned by the other tree right next to the camp and I was stunned to say the least
You have to beat the first frenzied noble and that unlocks them. After that it is just chilling in the same map for a long period of time until one does spawn
@@JoshuaGraves113 I don't know if you have a digital copy but if you do delete it and reinstall it. That worked for me last time I wasn't getting distortions.
Sometimes when I’m in a particular area of the map for an extended duration of time I get continuous space time distortions popping up back to back within a 2 min respawns most the time
I know it doesn’t change anything but it definitely feels like my time space distortions popped up all the time during the main storyline. Now that I’m in the post game it seems like they’re never around
I had already spent a while today on this area but got no distortions, then I did the waiting tip and got one, which spawned the cranidos I was missing :)
When you catch a pokemon, if the pokeball bounces one time you already caught it and when it bounces three times the pokemon can get out but you can also catch it.
Fun thing for me first ever time distortion in the last area was a shiny scizor. I screamed the house down cause it was my first ever sighting of scizor.
Rotom is by far the worst Outbreak I've done, yet. They refuse to stay in Poke Balls, they spawn in aggressive, and they swarm you like pissed off bees.

The feather/jet/sky balls have a higher throw arc, so if you throw aiming down a bit, they hit pokemon better

There's a second Magnezone spawn flying above the Fabled Spring, it's got a MASSIVE flight path though and is annoying to catch

My best idea is to be careful in tighter spaces since they're usually on top of those mostly on cliffs
That guide could also be good for money farming as they drop 4 nuggets everytime
I only find Coin lol but I see her a lot at Coronet Highlands pretty much where Austin John drscribed where Cherrim trees are near Fabled Spring

Love the videos for all the rare spawns. They’ve been the only thing guiding me to complete my Pokédex
It took me 5 space distortions to get one shieldon and along the way I got two alpha cranidos and four regular cranidos

i actually found elekid way easier then clefa for some reason. i had to keep reseting the map and ahrd reseting and would never spawn.

I like running around the area collecting items, and waiting for the distortions to spawn. Makes the time go by faster by doing something :)

the who events have no impact on each other. I've had rifts during outbreaks.

The only Cleffa I found was Alpha, I had no idea how rar it was! And it spawned at the same spot as Clefable, it was quite amusing.

You may know this but you can switch over to your pokeballs in battle and pressing RL and then a 😁

I had already spent a while today on this area but got no distortions, then I did the waiting tip and got one, which spawned the cranidos I was missing :)
Fish are the worst outbreak mons with the exception of magikarp everything else is a pain to hunt

The space distortions in this area for the fossil Pokémon is so RNG * cries in sobble* it’s the only ones I need.
I'm pretty proud to have a higher dex level than the austinplays wile still working a full time job.
When you catch a pokemon, if the pokeball bounces one time you already caught it and when it bounces three times the pokemon can get out but you can also catch it.
Fun thing for me first ever time distortion in the last area was a shiny scizor. I screamed the house down cause it was my first ever sighting of scizor.
Somehow these come out the same day I unlock the area inserting I just got to the highlands yesterday
Rotom is by far the worst Outbreak I've done, yet. They refuse to stay in Poke Balls, they spawn in aggressive, and they swarm you like pissed off bees.

I saw Cleffa the first time I went to the Fabled Springs, tried to feed it, it got spooked and ran. Now I'm struggling to get it to respawn.

rotom was one of the last pokemon i needed for my dex and the first one i found was a random alpha
Found an alpha Rotom while doing the Misdrevous quest... KO'ed it by mistake ;(
Also Space Time Distortions do spawn in Endgame, I got one after the credit rolls
