    About frozen bread.......
If you put a couple of frozen slices of bread (with for example fresh cheese, ham and bell pepper on it) in your "matpakke"
It will be thawed by the time you're gonna eat it.... and will be "fresher"
Only frozen slices of bread though.... nothing else frozen....
The "matpakke" will keep fresh longer. And no, it will not be soggy. 🙂
Freshly baked loaves of bread are being frozen in slices. when you defrost the bread again, it is as fresh as when it was baked. Of course, if you don't leave it in the freezer way too long.

      - Actually, '@karebear7149' is technically not wrong here.
Yes, if you are thinking about the frequency range or class of sound, if you will, then you are totally correct.
But don't forget about the fish, 'BASS' is in most dialects or accents pronounced "BÆSS".
Maybe it's just me, but I've found that 'Æ', 'Ø' and 'Å' are very common sounds in 'British-English' compared to f.e. 'American-English'.
Of course, that is highly dependent on the different regional dialects, 'cause they can vary greatly.
The same can be said for 'Canadian-English', 'Australian-English' and 'New Zealand-English', especially 'Australian-English'.
Not to forget the obvious accent difference between all the named countries to begin with, but some of their dialects sound a bit boneless to my ears.

  • @55wasco
    @55wasco Рік тому

I can't believe that a Norwegian says that May 17 is our independence day.....
May 17 is our Constitution Day!!
Norway got its own constitution on May 17, 1814
But Norway continued to be part of the Swedish Union until June 7 1905
May 17 is Norway's national day
But unlike most countries in the world that celebrate their independence day, in Norway we celebrate the date our Constitution was signed.
I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of Norwegians don't even know that June 7 is Norway's Independence Day
    A fun digression -
June 07 1905 Norway became independent after being in Union with Sweden
This day is not celebrated in any way in Norway - BUT June 07 is Sweden's national day

Yet the huge irnony and paradox is that Norwegians didn't invent skiing (cross country), the indiegnous Sami did. Even the Romans and Greeks documented this fact, and the Sami was known for it. So of course the vikings just ''appropriated'' it, and somehow Norway has become the originators.
Early historical evidence includes Procopius' (around CE 550) description of Sami people as skrithiphinoi (or skridfinns) translated as "ski running samis" (Sami people were commonly referred to as Finn). Birkely argues that the Sami people have practiced skiing for more than 6000 years, evidenced by the very old Sami word čuoigat for skiing. Paulus Diaconus mentioned what may have been Sami and described how they chased animals by a twisted piece of wood that they painstakingly shaped to resemble a bow.
The Sami also invented the “traditional” skii bindings as well. No wonder as the 1st Viking queen of a united “Norway” was Sami.
