Hello..Im from Western Samoa and i love this song. I dont understand Tongan language but hearing this song can truly feel the spirit. Could you please translate the lyrics in English?
In primary i never sang, i even threatened a teacher with a pocket knife when she got bossy haha (confiscated immediately, i don't know why i was such a feral kid) i was always too embarrassed to sing and hated it, resenting people who would ask or encourage me. I first heard this hymn in the NZ MTC 2006 amongst the company of my Tongan brethren and sisters as a new missionary, it has been one of my favourite hymns of all time since then and never fails to remind me of their testimonies and humility. I can still feel their voices boldly resonating with faith around me. Since that time i have sung hymns with joy, and i hope, a little of their boldness.
I'm not tongan but I have alot of tongan friends,extended family and i loooovveeee this song..eventhough i don't know what they're saying..i feel the spirit on their every word,harmony :* :* #thegospelintonguesintunedwiththespirit #thankfulformymembership #lds #iamaMORMON
