They don’t believe that you can “become a Jew”. It’s an ethnic-supremacist ideology. They believe they are superior and gentiles are like animals by virtue of their DNA.

I am a Christian that loves and always follows Rabbis all the time and learns a ton from them. And I am from Mexico City (like I have no direct connection to many Jews in my environment). I guess I'm an aspirational jew as well and I love it.

If his mother is Jewish, he's Jewish. In a mixed marriage, if the mother is Jewish, the children are regarded by Jews as Jewish. Everything is by the matrilineal parentage. He may not be religiously or culturally Jewish, but that qualifes him as ethnically Jewish.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????? Ive never heard auch hubris. Second time ive heard a chabad rabbi speak like this. First of all, since when do gedolim regularly learn tanya (if they do at all). Manis Friedman is better than gedolim. Chabad is better than mainstream yiddishkeit. Chabad does a lot of nice things but they also have a lot of problems (just like everybody else)......since when do people respect Chabad as better than anyone else.
There are many ‘aspirational Jews’ - and for me, I am an aspirational Messianic Jew!

There is no exclusive "right way". There are 70 facets to the Torah. 12 Tribes. Thousands of groups of chassidim, Sephardic, Ashkenaz, all with unique dialects and customs.

Why do you smack your lips when you speak and even when you don’t speak? You know it annoys people. They may not say anything, but it makes people uncomfortable and puts people on edge. Your words are great. That doesn’t give you a pass to annoy people, but because they like what you have to say, they put up with it. It’s easy to cease the extraneous mouth noises.

I have been listening, watching, taking his classes, and even talking with Rabbi Manis Friedman in the zoom groups for months and I had never noticed what you just said.
