Thanks for watching MRC! I got this Racent 787-1 model and checking it out. The original release had some issues but 6 months or so after it's initial release, it appears the issues have been fixed. It runs well and for $80 it's pretty neat at a great price. It would be easy to mod and for cheap you can add shocks and a new esc motor combo and have something. Something like this suits me as I have my kids / friends / kid's friends come over and batteries are quick to charge and 4 or 5 models can be running on the crawler course, so I like to have options so everyone can run and have fun. I give it a thumbs up for what it is and fun can easily be had with it if you want to keep it on the budget. Few bucks more down the road you can have this at a great level. I will probably do some as I replace parts on my SCX24 models and move them over on this rig. Thanks again for watching, see you soon on the next one!

Thanks for the compliment! I'm slowly building and adding on more when I have time. I'll do an update video on it soon with all the things I've done. Cheers!

I really try and stay away from any RC that doesn't support its product by offering parts. That's the difference between toy grade and hobby grade. Not that you cannot swap parts from another same scale model. I have 3 different crawlers and that's enough for me. I made modules for my mini crawlers using foam board and various craft and dollar store items.

Hey man. I totally hear where you are coming from. I would take an SCX24 over this any day. However I can have my kids with each having a friend over, 4 or 5 trucks crawling on the course at a time. This hits the budget price point for me and i can move stock SCX24 parts on it when I upgrade my better models. Thanks for a great comment. Have a good one!

Awesome video again, thanks a lot for this! You showed me a great mini crawler Jeep that I was already liking and wanted to get. I think for the money it is better than what Axial is trying to sell people or others. The Racent is even water proof and it looks way better too. 👍🏼

Well I was reading your mind I guess! lol. I've had my eye on this for a while and like i said in the other comments here, I need options for when my kids, wife, friends, kid's friends come over. Easy to charge batteries quickly, batteries last a while and my kids don't care if it does everything a pimped out upgraded RC does. They just want to drive and have fun. This checks those boxes at a great price. I have FMS, SCX24s, RGTs the austar TRX4m clone, ECX temper 2, losi min night crawler and bunch more. All great fun but I can't be popping $250cdn for a rig... why I trade or buy used. Always scanning FB marketplace. lol. This is a nice new buy and put some shocks on it with new wheels and it's 95% there. Only other thing is change the motor/esc and someday I might upgrade the scx24 to something and this will get the hand me down from there, just like the youngest in the family gets the hand me down clothes from the older ones.
Anyway back to this truck, other than the pain in the butt body clip system it's pretty good! Have fun and hope to hear from you again.
