- The 8-0, #1 Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Baton Rouge, LA to face the 5-2, #13 LSU Tigers. This was Alabama's 6th consecutive win over LSU - the second longest streak in the history of this rivalry, trailing only Alabama's 11 game winning streak from 1971-1981.
"Coach Saban, they held you scoreless for three quarters. How do you feel about that?"
"Well, we held them scoreless for all four quarters so pretty good I guess."
I'm a penn state fan, but watching Alabama lsu is just beautiful it brings out the best of both squads

Ardarrius Stewart always seemed to operate at 110%. He could always energize the team with a spectacular play when they needed it

@@savagetigerfbfan6673 Yeah LSU won what 4 games against BAMA since 2007 in what 18 tries . One was a rematch after 2011 when pie face's team only crossed midfield 1 time then QB wound up fumbling ball back near midfield . In 3 of those wins LSU had over BAMA points difference was a total of 11 points . That was 1st game of 2011 , game in 2022 , game in 2019 . Now what is average LSU has lost by in the other 14 games > on avg. losing by more than 10 every time . New Coach at Bama now but I doubt scores will be any one sided more than the last 3 wins LSU had .We will see . Also how many Natty's do LSU have in last 18 years > 2 Bama has 6 so yall suck hind teat .

A lot of people don't care for the defensive struggle type games; consider them ugly and hard to watch, I think they are beautiful especially as they've become increasingly rare.
One of the LSU players on defense said earlier in the week leading up to this game, we will dominate Alabama. His comment didn't age well.
To be fair, the Lsu defense did their job. The offense took a shit.

@@CC-bm3wb Most of Bama's defenders were in the NFL one or two years after that game. LSU's offense didn't stand much of a chance.
If LSU players would stop acting like a tackle for a 3-yard loss is a "game-winning play", and just get a bit more businesslike, and behave as if it isn't the first time they ever made a great play every time they make one, they may fare a little better.

Jalen was a terrible QB that year. He’s improved but will not win a heisman or natty while at Oklahoma I’m sorry you just wanna run and your accuracy is 1-10 you should of went to WR or RB. You won some games bc of the players around you just like all the other QBs that has come thru Alabama. The team finds a way to win but to give you QBs win/loses as a starter is weak to do your singling out the teams body of work why doesn’t the offensive line man get a win for starting lmao. You’ve seen what Alabama has done since with other QBs.
