Fun Fact!!! In France, kids in school will have an hour to eat because they take it as a class. They would have a four course meal as well as them choosing a cheese and a desert. They are trusted with glass. They get their food brought to them. The older kids sereve and pour water out of this big jug you would see in a fancy restaurant. These are like kindergartners FYI.

Also as someone who is in the UK we usually got dumplings with minced beef mash and peas. We would also get cake, a fruit cup or jelly for dessert. This lunch didn't do the UK justice in my opinion. (no hate tho x)

The American lunch was much better than most American lunches served in schools, including mine. An accurate score for American lunches served in school would probably be a 1
This is most likely untrue it would probably at least be a three, at my school for lunch we get a plain cheese sandwich with water if you don’t like it, you deal with it
Yea no the school food in America is way worse than what she got. Examples: the fruit isn’t those fancy fruit cups it’s regular fruit with holes and dents in it, the chicken is probably raw, you don’t get cookies, and half of the time the milk is spoiled… (Ps, this is now always but everyday you have to check if it’s raw or if the milk is spoiled)
i went to a public school in america (im from s korea) for an exchange thing once and the pizza was so greasy there would be people who would pour it into a cup the corn dogs were rock solid the vegetables were frozen and also rock solid i could go on and on lol

@Lightbreaker y know ive checked multiple coments on diff gloom vids and you have commented the same exact thing every singgle tiiiiime so just shut up nobody is gonna go to your channel and sub to it bc of this comment
@@Ur.f4v_p3rs0n Yeah I have seen this idiot and a few others doing the same thing on even other channels, I hate people like them, problem is the one who posted the original comment is basically doing the same thing, they all think if they praise other UA-camrs that we will not only give them the likes they are also asking for, but also visit their channel and Sub, I have never subbed to anyone channel no matter what they say here or anywhere else! Especially with most of those who are saying what the original poster commented, haven't even watched the video and isn't subscribed to the channel, so they are all fake! Best to ignore them and the haters! I just give them a thumb down and go on with my day, yes that includes the one who said something nice, because they go on multiple UA-camrs channels saying the same thing, they just change the name of the UA-camr! You can tell because they never once mention ANYTHING that happened in the videos, just says what this KELDEO SWORD OF JUSTICE did in the hopes of getting likes and or subscribers! Okay, just checked that channel out, who ever it is started on UA-cam in August of this year and has nothing on the channel, not even favorites or channel they subscribe to! Weird! Lightbreaker, isn't his real channel, he has another channel called Sound City, which has the same avatar as Lightbreaker, which has all the same videos, who ever it is is Russian, which make me wonder if Lightbreaker is a bot for Sound City or something, it really doesn't make a lot of sense actually, why not use the real channel to get Subs for, this one was started in June 2021, while the Sound City one was started in 2014! In any case it's pathetic for him, as I believe they're a guy, or really anyone to be using other UA-camrs channels to get Subs for their channels! And the poster here with their fake praise, seems to be doing it just for likes only, since they have no videos at all! People are really getting crazy with this thing of doing anything for some attention or just to get a like on the internet, from strangers! Kind of like the ones who steal photos and other things from people on Twitter or Facebook and make up a story where it was their photos, also just to get attention and likes! It's insane!
Imagine if they actually serve this kind of stuff in an American or Canadian school or just all schools around the world so that way you could try different foods from around the world that would be so cool!
Most people in Spain actually go home for lunch so it’s quite rare they serve lunch at school. Also Spain is a very hot country so it makes sense as to why the food they do serve is so light.
I request an Indian one: Protein and main course:Chicken Biryani Vegetables: Carrots and pumpkins (cooked) Desert: Lassi ( it's curd water and sugar) This is not what I personally eat everyday for lunch but this is the most Indian variety. Our daily lunch is more international :)
as a Greek, I can guarantee you that this is not what we get served for lunch at school, we usually don't even eat lunch at school we just eat breakfast, lunch we eat after school.
I can't believe you count these as school lunches. These are literally all gourmet compared to usual school lunches. By the way, the stuffed grape leaves is also a Lebanese thing and it's called warak arish (pronounced war-ah)
Girl calm down she said they're not precise pls just leave her alone, they're not going to travel around the world to find out all the exact school lunches
My French teacher in high school said that people in France take their school lunches very seriously, like the kids would get different courses with soup and dessert and stuff, and everything would be made from fresh ingredients because it was cheaper. I don't remember exactly what she said but that's what I understood from it lol. I think it's really cool.
As an Italian, I can confirm the italian meal is accurate, but a little bit too full of stuff, but accurate Usually the meals were like pesto pasta or tomato pasta, and the second course meatballs and a veggie, then an ACTUAL fruit also (exclusively in Rome) its illegal to serve children fried food

Kids in Italy and Brazil are getting some of the best meals I have ever seen and here in America I'm getting gross soggy hotdogs and just some lettuce as a salad and some soggy fruit. WHAT US THIS!!?
in england throughout the week (in primary school) monday: it would be a baked potato ( with tuna, cheese or beans) ,tuesday: an english breakfast, friday: if you were lucky chicken nuggets and a roast on wednesday. oh and mystery meat with carrots and peas (on thursday) ,they never told you what it was and it tasted like everything mixed together. desert would be a slice of vanilla cake and sprinkles, occasionally carrot cake, possibly ice cream, and on special days when your parents would come it would be eton mess and on pancake day pancakes (with syrup and me and my friends would save some bacon from the english breakfast and eat it together lol (and obvs christmas dinner on the last day before christmas break)
@@OZZY-mh2hz nope that or you brought a pack lunch with you, but you couldn’t eat with each other pack lunch and school dinner were separated (pack lunch outside, school dinner inside)
Bru I'm from the UK and the best thing we get at school is a hard cold peace of pizza and the worst thing is they use like a whole tube of TOMATO PASTE on like one slice of pizza
I remember in 5th grade we would get lunch at 6-period, which is at 12:30. Usually people eat at that time, but breakfast is at 7:00, you have to wake up extra early to get there. After you eat breakfast you have to wait five hours to eat lunch. My class would starve most of the time until lunch.
Sometimes our school would just gives us a bag of chips with what they call “ground beef” and that’s it 😭😭 Edit-the ground beef is literally a small clump in a tiny cup 🤦♀️ (American food for ya)
I remember in primary school (in England) we only had two different meals, tomato sauce and pasta mixed together, and a baked potato, no seasoning, no beans, just a potato. And a biscuit on the side you would hack at with a knife just to get a crumb that won't break your teeth ... or use it as a frisbee lol
i remember in primary school (in england) we would always have potatoes either with beans ,cheese or tuna my school would also have other foods like rice and curry or pasta and tomato sauce with meatballs and other stuff it might be different for different areas of england or schools
In my primary it was the same but when I went to juniors (year 3 to year 6) we had different food everyday for example one day a week we would have mashed potatoes, gravy, sausages, peas and carrots and bread then as a pudding we would have apple crumble and another day we could have colliflower cheese
The thing is, I’m Finnish. The food that they serve us in school, it’s not the best and I personally don’t like the food that much but it’s normal food for us in Finland. Plus it’s free for everyone from preschool students to secondary school students, so that’s pretty great.
Right now because of COVID, school ouch is free at my school, but usually it is pretty expensive ( about 6 US dollars per lunch). And then we have extra Al A Carte which is like a bunch of other unhealthy stuff lol. But that costs money. Overall not great food though.
As someone who has a Brazilian father, the Brazilian lunch is basically what we have for dinner when I stay with him. Rice, beans, very well marinated meat and a salad. My mother is from many different places, Germany (I think) being one of them and she throws things together to make little dishes of meat, vegetables and nice seasoning. I do wish to experience more of my families culture one day and try the food from where they come from, I just don’t like to travel much because you know, money.
I’m from Japan!!! The most popular dish is “ “Age pan”. Age (pronounce the a like in apple and e like in egg) means deep fried. Pan means bread (like French!) We usually eat it with condensed milk, kind of like a doughnut!
At this point rewatching old kassie and hoping she'll come back is the the only hope left for me in this life... I really miss her and want her back so bad💔
I’m from Italy and I just wanna say that I’m thankful for you rating our lunch food a 4 stars, when I tell my culture to people they would bully me and Ty again :) And I love all cultures :)
Me: from Finland and never liking beets.. and never eating crepes/thin pancakes for lunch. Pea soup was actually one of my favourite foods while growing up but it had to be a bit more liquid-y than what Kassie has. (And usually I just eat the food we get at school.)
The Finland crepe is actually a pancake, in Sweden and Finland we have thin pancakes. In Sweden we call it Pannkaka Edit: thanks you so much I have never gotten this much likes on one comment
Kassie we don't eat the same thing everyday, so you won't get sick of it, it's just an example, undercooked chicken, a bruised banana corn and milk is a typical America lunch.... But not what we have every day you have choices, like a salad a pb&j pizza (for me burgers or chicken pattys) and a main meal that could be anything from chicken nuggets to waffle sausage bites
Im Korean but I live in Canada. I definately feel like there are much less veggies and more “sweets” in the meal. And there’s definately kimbap and other foods like tonkatsu sometimes! but i’d say this was pretty accurate :)
@@yaemiko6720 sometimes! i dont eat spicy food but there’ve been ramen and stuff in the lunches. The desserts are also more healthy like fruits and yogurt other than candy and cookies :)
The stuffed grape leaves are called Dolmades and they are grape leaves stuffed with rice and sometimes meat (often beef) and has a lemon juice type thing in it. I love that you enjoyed the Greek food!
Kassie, thank you for eating Greece’s food! I’m Greek and my dad approved of the Greek lunch haha. You should try AUSTRALIAN LUNCH. it would be ligit a vegemite and cheese sandwich or a ham and cheese sandwich, a side of shapes crackers or ritz crackers, tiny teddies and an apple. Haha I know it’s not much but that’s REALISTICALLY what an Australian eats everyday. We don’t try lol. I love your making food, trying food videos and I especially loved your bento boxes! Heeey!! Greek here. The "stuffed grape leaves" are traditionally called dolmadikia (with the d's pronounced as a hard th). REALLL
As a fellow UK lover (I’m American sadly) try fish n chips. Delicious and amazing. But from America. Biscuits and gravy is where it’s at!
The American lunch was much better than most American lunches served in schools, including mine. An accurate score for American lunches served in school would probably be a 1
Really because I live in Asia
Some school foods are worst then prison in the US
This is most likely untrue it would probably at least be a three, at my school for lunch we get a plain cheese sandwich with water if you don’t like it, you deal with it
@@rubymcf that's a 3 to you??
@@amarimochi no, I’m not American I’m saying American lunches would probably be better than what I get where I’m from
Kassie, you should deffinetly make a part with Japan, Malaysia and other Asian countries :D
Also middle Eastern countries
Yea no the school food in America is way worse than what she got. Examples: the fruit isn’t those fancy fruit cups it’s regular fruit with holes and dents in it, the chicken is probably raw, you don’t get cookies, and half of the time the milk is spoiled…
(Ps, this is now always but everyday you have to check if it’s raw or if the milk is spoiled)
Oh
Yea, when the serve us salads at our school, they serve raw chicken nuggets/raw chicken tenders with it.
Or it’s just frozen berries mixed. Best thing you can get where I’m from.
i went to a public school in america (im from s korea) for an exchange thing once and the pizza was so greasy there would be people who would pour it into a cup
the corn dogs were rock solid
the vegetables were frozen and also rock solid
i could go on and on lol
and the meat just tasted "artificial" and like it was made from chemicals :')

@Lightbreaker y know ive checked multiple coments on diff gloom vids and you have commented the same exact thing every singgle tiiiiime so just shut up nobody is gonna go to your channel and sub to it bc of this comment
@Lightbreaker stop stop stop
@@Ur.f4v_p3rs0nFAX
